That show probably now has LGBTQ characters now."I know Oscar lives in a garbage can
I dont know where the cookie monster lives...in a jar?
It has been years since I watched Sesame street. Is it still going? Big Bird wouldnt fit in a tiny house
You mind as well just live in a tent. Going potty will be problematic though. It actually takes a good bit of money to live in a tiny house. Have you priced them lately? They ain't cheap.
Let the fad die down a bit more and the prices will drop.

"Today's show in brought to us by the letter "Q" boys and girls".
"Oh, that probably was not stated in politically correct terms. My bad, per usual.
DISCLAMER: The OP - Tiny House, is probably disparaging to the little peeps that are financially constrained to live in them.
cant you donate them to a mens shed?Minimalists are apparently into Tiny housing. Hobbits and elves too. With the cost of housing escalating in Oz, and with some people even struggling to find or afford rentals, they might become a necessity in some shape or form. I could live in them, or in a caravan, or on a yacht. I've lived in a tent for a while, and in my car. I'd have to get rid of a lot of tools and toys now though, which might not be a bad thing!
I couldn't see myself living in such a tiny place. But could if I had too. I personally think they want too much for some I have seen for sale online, what does everyone here think of tiny houses
an option for you?
too tiny?
only good for dolls?
not worth it or totally worth it?
Yes, they're pretty exxie. There's some traps in building from shipping containers too.I couldn't see myself living in such a tiny place. But could if I had too. I personally think they want too much for some I have seen for sale online,
treehouse
you know how you read some science books and writers say off hand that humans all used to live in trees back millions of years ago... as if we were all like monkeys and apes how do they actually know that. Or are they just making stuff up.
Just think its ironic that humans CUT DOWN trees to build houses, when we could actually be living IN the trees.
after all, apartments are already stacked one on top of each other so theres no rule that says you all have to live on the ground
but but but we need somewhere to park our supermarket shopping trolleys!Except over here you'd likely get mauled by a narky butcher bird or get whacked off your perch by a low flying bat.
I do agree though, we humans have far from exercised goodly dominion over the planet, in fact we are far more adept at pillaging it!
but but but we need somewhere to park our supermarket shopping trolleys!
A tiny house is the perfect solution dont you think? It can easily fold down to fit in one of those trolleys so you can load it into your car that lives in a garage thats bigger than your tiny house.
you can do that in your own country rather than take resources from anothers and expect them to host youYes, well, there are people that sleep under bridges that use a shopping trolley to cart their meagre possessions, and food supply if they have any, from place to place. I think it would be good if we in the wealthy countries go and live for a few months or so in the harsh living circumstances of those in poorer countries. We'd be far less likely to complain about what we don't have, and be far more likely to express gratitude for what we do have and share it with those that don't have!
I would live in onewhat does everyone here think of tiny houses

i have read two books about really rich white men who go on trekking journeys in the himalayas. Maybe its just copying Edmund Hillary I dunno, who said he climbed mt Everest just cos its there.
Anyway, they both come across a poor mountain village where the children dont go to school because its just to hard to get a school built there, and nobody knows how to read etc. So they promise to return with lots of money to buy books, materials to build schools etc. But at first they only give english language books and the villagers want material in their own language.
So then they decide to get publishers to print books in their own langauge. These people already live in tiny houses, actually mud huts with only one room. and not just for one person, its for a whole family of six or more.
But they have no schools and no libraries.
so its not that anyone needs a bigger house, really. Or a smaller one. what people really want is education and the chance to go to school and learn, and to be able to read.
If you dont know how to read life will be very tough and chances are you will end up in a huge house with a tiny room...its called jail.
