There will be trials and failures but the most important thing is to immediately seek God and limit the lag time that may come from trials or failures. Spiritual warfare is very real and the schemes of satan will try to increase the lag time by sowing in doubt, fear, guilt, shame, distractions, discouragement, etc.

Thank you, it is a powerful truth to understand the refining and spiritual war that all Christians will face. But ultimately our hope and strength is He who has overcome the world with it's sin, death, disease, and evil.

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I
may open my mouth boldly, to make known The Mystery
Of the Gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds:
that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
