Eternal Bread for Life = Did not Job receive a Double Portion of BOTH, the LORD and all that he had previously.................
uh yeah he was more blessed after. I’m just saying that God doesn’t destroy our family and kill our children just so later he can say we’re blessed job already was blessed God blessing him more later wasnt because of anything Satan said or did

there’s a tempter and accuser against job it’s not God

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jobs suffering was a temptation for him to openly curse God Satan said he would if the lord let Satan work in his life God said he wouldn’t priorly in his description of job

job faced temptations of a great design , all his suffering was trying to get him to curse God no show himself as other men

it was a testing of jobs faith. God will always bless the obedient jobs blessing wasnt based on what happened in the book of job it was based on his love for God beforehand

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.”
‭‭Job‬ ‭1:1, 6-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we have a spiritual enemy in high places working to destroy our faith , working to do any ring he can to get us to turn against God. He’s always trying to accuse always pointing out what we failed to do or what we would fail to do if the situation was different he’s bent on destroying Gods children

so yes job definately was blessed with more after he lost everything , but it’s not God who willed any of the suffering upon job it was jobs enemy trying to keep him from the kingdom by persecuting him in this world

i would like to make your statement more complete by adding the following in bold.
"it was a testing of jobs faith. God will always bless the obedient jobs blessing wasnt (just) based on what happened in the book of job it was based on his love for God beforehand" , during and after.

Today's challenge/Truth Quest for you: How do you know? Is not the LORD Perfectly capable of bringing Good from evil?

i know of a few Scriptural Truths that indeed say: the LORD can do this, did this and will continue to do this.

Now, do not let this disturb you, because it has nothing to do with measuring your love for Christ.

You seem to be misunderstanding what happened. Since Satan could do nothing without God's permission, he requested and received permission to attack Job. But all the attacks were from Satan.
Whew, I thought we going down a rabbit hole we might not come out of there for a minute.

It is cursing God.

OT:1288
barak (baw-rak'); a primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason):

Lexicon:

"It is properly used of persons, and is transferred to curses and impious words against God." This specific definition for the word in question is found in Job 1:5, 1:11 and Job 2:5.

Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

Job 2:5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

So what Satan literally said was:

"he will speak impious words against you"

American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source - Share This
im•pi•ous (im'pe-?s, im-pi'-) Pronunciation Key
adj.
1. Lacking reverence; not pious.
2. Lacking due respect or dutifulness: impious toward one's parents.

In today's terms it would mean Job spoke in disrespect to God, and about God.

Job 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Job never cursed God. Wow, this is Sunday school 101. Job said "Tho God slay me, I will put my trust in Him".

We can't really know but, there are some guide points;

God said that Job was a perfect servant... not a perfect person....a perfect servant.

Now Christ tells us that we may pay a price for following Him. Job was called on to shoulder massive treatment by Satan...allowed by God...so Job would have an opportunity to do what?....show the depth of his, jobs, faith. Some might say God knew the depth....could be.......but ............folks around him did not know ...................thus the witness point giving all praise to God.
Job, even with his wife's chastising him, remained steadfast in his resolve then received replacement blessing greater than before.

Job is one of my favorite books of the Bible.

What stands out from that presentation ......that is not already present from the study of Job?

Here's my thoughts... (if anyone wants them. I'm a talkative sort. Haha)

It's a command of God that we bless Him. Not a suggestion. A command.

And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you Deuteronomy 8:10.

In Hebrew to bless (often translated synonymously with praise) means to "kneel" and we understand it best as praise. So, we are to praise God for the good he's given us.

Why? Your correct it's as a witness to others of our Lord, but it's also for us more personally. There's something healing to the soul about praising God.

As human beings we tend to focus on the negatives of life... And be upset when every single thing isn't great. We may have plenty, but it's ever the grass seen as greener on the other side of the fence. If only... z, y and z. Everything that goes wrong tends to be viewed as some kind of curse upon our heads.

This is where praise heals us. When we focus on the gifts we have been blessed with, it becomes a habit and our minds go to that far happier and positive place automatically.

I went through hell in my life but through it all there was never a time there weren't blessings to be seen, and it was always the blessings that got me through.

Those trials however, were likewise blessings in disguise. Why? Because if I hadn't experienced them I wouldn't be the far stronger person I am today.

So God allows the trials for our benefit, because they benefit us both personally and communally, and in the end, allow us to see, correct, and rise above ourselves and our own failings... As well as see the truth of the blessings we've been given, which sometimes we may take for granted..

That's the same word for "curse":

Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

H1288
בָּרַךְ
bârak
baw-rak'
A primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason): - X abundantly, X altogether, X at all, blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse, X greatly, X indeed, kneel (down), praise, salute, X still, thank.
Total KJV occurrences: 330

So there is a positive bârak where one praises, and there is a negative bârak where one anti-praises, the one Job was guilty of.

Job is rebuked.
Job 42:6 6Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Why?
Job 42
2Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
8Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
Job 38:2Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

God Chastises Job's 3 buddies
7And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
9So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Why was Elihu not rebuked?
Job 36:2Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

What did Elihu say?
Job 34:12Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
Job 35:2Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
Job 35:16Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
Job 36:5Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
Job 37:24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.

It is truly perverse to blame God for Job's calamity how so ironic using the Book of Job to call God the Authour of sin when the whole book is against conjecturing against God.
