The idea of Communism itself is absurd and unworkable. The failure of the Soviet Union is proof of that. There was no "Workers' Paradise" and the Russians and others suffered terribly under Communist rule. Marxism, Leninism, and Maoism are all lies.
The only reason why China's "Communism" has prospered is because it is "Communistic-Capitalism". While the Chinese, the Uyghurs, the Tibetans, and the Christians in China are BRUTALLY SUPPRESSED, all the industries which belonged to the West were gifted to China. China is the biggest consumer of coal and is in fact expanding production and use of coal. And China cares not a whit about the bogus Climate Agenda. Plus China stole a great deal of technology and industrial knowhow from the West since the 1970s.
This is primarily the fault of the stupid Western Gwailo politicians who have consistently failed to see that China despises the West, and at the same time supplies almost all goods to the West. Thus trillions of dollars flow to China so that it has become the world's only super-power, and left America in the dust. Big Tech is beholden to China and does its bidding. And most American politicians are in the pockets of the CCP. But its brutal Communistic regime has become worse and worse. Hong Kong has been destroyed and Taiwan is next on the agenda. Shanghai has also been destroyed deliberately to give the West an example of brutal tyranny by governments who are purely evil.
