Annnnnnd that's enough derailing. How about that twitter?
Actually I think that it will improve the site.

Musk is like a modern day Edison.

Brilliant and hiring a bunch of other Brilliant people to come up with solutions to issues. He has had his failures publicly. He doesn't hide them or deny them.

But he leans toward conservative viewpoints. Which really upsets the liberals. So I expect to see a loosening of the stranglehold on conservative viewpoints.

And that really upsets the liberals. But I expect that Twitter will be walking your dog here soon....but accidents of putting a leash on your children and making them poop in the yard will be credited to programming glitches. Just like the Self driving Tesla that has been keyed by every idiot out there.

Aren't ALL who sin hypocrites...?
"Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do..."
I'm only saying that just because Trump prayed in the White House, doesn't mean diddly-squat. Many pray to "look good" or put on a show. Saying "he prayed in the White House" doesn't mean he's a Christian. The Pharisees prayed in public all the time so people would think they were "holy" and Jesus condemned them.

Definition of hypocrite:
1. A person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2. A person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

A hypocritical Christian, I would say, is someone who has said they're following Christ but continues to purposely engage and live in sin. Followers of Christ who make mistakes and repent aren't hypocrites.

Trump is a hypocrite in that he "puts on a false appearance of religion" in order to boost his political life.

Elon Musk, who openly supports freedom of speech, recently purchased 100% of Twitter, a platform that has many policies that hinder Christians from speaking on more sensitive subjects, such as gender. Ray Comfort comments (starting @ 2 minutes in) on this exciting acquisition, how it relates to Christians, and then shares the gospel with a staunch—but friendly—atheist.

I am listening to this ^ right now... "I Tried To Warn You" - Elon Musk
"Freedom consists of the distribution of power and despotism in its concentration..."
This doesn't exactly sound like Lord Acton....

He is essentially saying that since power corrupts, and despotic power is always accompanied by corruption
of morality, despotism would be limited and perhaps eliminated through a more even distribution of power.

@JAPOV perhaps he said it wrong?

It seems he meant that freedom is more assured when there is less despotism.

Maybe? :LOL::unsure:;):giggle:

"I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)"

It's one o'clock and time for lunch
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench
I can always hear them talk

There's always been Ethel
"Jacob, wake up! You've got to tidy your room now"
And then Mister Lewis
"Isn't it time that he was out on his own?"
Over the garden wall, two little lovebirds - cuckoo to you
Keep them mowing blades sharp

I know what I like, and I like what I know
Getting better in your wardrobe, stepping one beyond your show

Sunday night, Mr Farmer called, said
"Listen son, you're wasting time; there's a future for you
In the fire escape trade. Come up to town!"
But I remembered a voice from the past
"Gambling only pays when you're winning"
I had to thank old Miss Mort for schooling a failure
Keep them mowing blades sharp

I know what I like, and I like what I know
Getting better in your wardrobe, stepping one beyond your show

When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench
I can always hear them talk
Me, I'm just a lawnmower - you can tell me by the way I walk

Lol... What's he been mowing?

They claim to be Christian. But they are huge mammon worshippers, they cheat workers, abandon the poor and sick, and embrace lies and deceit. NONE of which are Christian mores.
In post # 99 you emphatically state Christians don’t see the lies of the right, then in post #101 you say they claim to be Christian. You’re contradicting yourself.
