Since you went to Bansville after only 2 days being a member you will remain silent.
I was gone a few days and missed all the fun. Maybe it’s better this way because it keeps me out of trouble.

I've had figs. They don't give knowledge of good and evil, no fruit does that when eaten.
You already have knowledge of good and evil. It’s been passed down to everyone.

Answer

Did Eve eat an apple

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Is this really what God said or did he twist scripture here as he did when he temped Jesus. Genesis 2:15. “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Satan starts out with a lie that is just who he is.

Verse 2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Neither shall ye touch it. What does that really mean. #5060 Strong's concordance naga` {naw-gah'} A primitive root; properly to touch, that is, lay the hand upon (for any purpose; euphemistically, to lie with a woman); by implication to reach (figuratively to arrive, acquire); violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.).

If you question that and you should; lets go to

Genesis 20. Abraham and Sarah are traveling: And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. 2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. Sarah was Abraham's half sister. So what does the king do? He takes Sarah. God intervenes; lets see what happens. Verse 3. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.4. But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?

What is going on here Sarah was a beautiful woman and caught the kings eye. He found out who she was and he asked her to go for a walk with him NO he wanted to take her to his bed. God stopped him and he tells God I have not touched her.

Lets go to the new testament: 2 Corinthians11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

What is Paul saying here: I have a godly jealousy for you; I have given you in marriage as a chaste virgin to Christ but I fear you may be beguiled ( meaning from the Webster Dictionary: Definition of beguile transitive verb 1 : hoodwink beguiled her classmates into doing the work for her 2 : to engage the interest of by or as if by guile His seductive voice beguiled the audience. 3 : to lead by deception beguiled into ambush)

ἐξαπατάω exapatáō, ex-ap-at-ah'-o; from G1537 and G538; to seduce wholly:—beguile, deceive. KJV

Lets get back to Genesis 3

Verse 4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Verse 5.For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Satan is saying you are not going to die. God is just trying to keep you from having your eyes opened so that you will not become like us gods. Knowing good from evil.

Verse 6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Why is it that they realized they were naked? Because they had been touched and wholly seduced

Verse 8. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

They herd Gods voice calling them as He walked through the garden. God was in the garden with Adam and Eve. He calls out “where are you” Do you really thank God did not know where they were and what had happened? Yes He know He was giving them a chance to come forward and face Him and confess to what they had done; He would have forgiven them.

Verse 10. And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 . And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

I was afraid: That was something new for Adam because before there was nothing to be afraid of because he was perfect before God. Because I was naked I hid myself. Sexual sin had entered in; sexual immorality. God asks “Who told you you were naked?” God already know but He wanted to see what Adam would say. Have you eaten from the tree I told you to stay away from. I can here God just like a father “I asked you not do one thing and that is what you went and did.”

Verse 12. And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

What does Adam do? Blame God, and the woman that You gave me. I was not my fault she made me do it.

Verse 13. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

God turned to the woman; What have you done! Eve turns to the third party and blames the serpent. The serpent beguiled me. There is that word again that Paul used in 2 Corinthians beguiled to holy seduce. Lets see what it means in the Hebrew. (beguiled as used in Genesis 3:13), is shown here as 5377 nasha', naw-shaw'; a prim. Root; to lead astray, i.e. (mentally) to delude, or (morally) to seduce:-beguile, deceive., X greatly, x utterly. Here again we have to stay with sexual immorality and sexual sin.

Verse 14. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

God put the serpent (snake) on his belly making him the lowest of the animals he would have to eat dust and dirt the rest of his life.

Verse 15. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

And I god will put enmity Strong's Greek: 2189. ἔχθρα (echthra) -- enmity, hostility between thy seed (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance seed, offspring From speiro; something sown, i.e. Seed (including the male "sperm"); by implication, offspring; specially, a remnant (figuratively, as if kept over for planting) -- issue, seed.) The woman's seed is going to kill you but your seed is only going to bruise his (male) head. This is the first prophecy in the bible and it is about Jesus's crucifixion and the final destruction of Satan at the end of the millennium.

We are going to move on to chapter 4

Verse 1. And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. Verse 2.And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

biblehub.com › hebrew › 3254Strong's Hebrew: 3254. יָסַף (yasaph) -- to add - Bible Hub A primitive root; to add or augment (often adverbial, to continue to do a thing) -- add, X again, X any more, X cease, X come more, + conceive again, continue, exceed, X further, X gather together, get. With a little common sense we can figure out that Eve continued in labor and gave birth to Able.

Verse 3. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell 6. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7.If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Verse 3&4 tells us that this is their first offering “And in the process of time it came to pass” why is this important Cain and Abel are half brothers. Before you say that is impossible ask your family doctor about it. In closing I will give you biblical proof. Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering. He did not bring the first fruits which is the best and should be offered to God. Able brought the first born of the flocks the best he had to offer to God. “And the Lord had respect unto Able and to his offering” Verse 5. As for Cain's offering God had no respect and this just sets Cain off he is mad, frustrated, and disappointed. Verse 6. And the Lord stop and thank about that The Lord spoke to Cain why are you this way? You have no reason for it. We should all pay attention to verse 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. There it is in black and white.

Chapter 5:1. This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2. Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. 3. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

What about Abel? He was killed before he could have any children so he is not included. What about Cain He was not the son of Adam. Lets go to John chapter

8.42.Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43. Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word. 44. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 46. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The Pharisees can not understand what He is saying because they do not have eye to see. Ye are of your father the Devil. They must have come from the line of Cain. He was a murderer from the beginning, Who was the first murderer Cain. Jesus makes it very clear here that Cain was the offspring of Satan. If you don't thank that Satan or angles are incapable of having children read Genesis 6, and the little book of Jude they will back up what I just said.

There you have it the answer to did Eve eat an apple. NO

Look forward to hearing from you. Ken

Been a member longer than 2 days and I was looking for an answer to did Eve eat an apple or did something take place. You don't seam to want to have a discussion you just want to call people names.
You already have knowledge of good and evil. It’s been passed down to everyone.
But how and when did we get it.

I love your art work. For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Why didn't Adam and Eve die? Is the bible wrong or is there another explination?

This forbidden fruit you are hesitant to talk about wouldn’t have anything to do with Eve having sex with the serpent would it?
...You knew it had to be in here somewhere.

It wasn't a literal fruit at all. You can know people according to their fruit or what kinds of things they do. Fruit in this sense is something you do. Bad fruit would be doing bad things such as sinful acts.
You are right about it not being literal fruit but what happened?

If those people go that far, then they have to admit Adam had sexual relations with satan as well.

Just some warped ideas.

Maybe He did but I cannot prove that so I will stick to the fact that Eve had sex with both.

Satan has no reproductive seed other than the lies he sows.
We can either receive those lies, or reject them and receive the truth. This is why wisdom is depicted in the feminine, receiving truth is wisdom, and foolish Babylon is also depicted as feminine. It is an allusion to the ability to "reproduce" or generate the corresponding "fruit" of either wisdom or foolishness.

How could you say that Jerusalem the place that God called his favorite place in the universe, the place He will set as His millennial kingdom is Babylon

Satan has no reproductive seed other than the lies he sows.
Let us create man in our image that would include Satan and we have reproductive organs (seed). How did we get the giants spoken of in Genisus 6 and how could The sons of God take the daughters on man and make these giants. Jude verse 6. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. These are the sons of God that left heaven came to earth took the daughters of Adam they had children (hy-breds) and they became giants.

Angels having intercourse with women is an idea you promote :unsure:
