Well, you will certainly get lots of attention with that title, silly as it may be.
1. They were not in public.
2. They had not yet eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
obtw, there was nothing inherently evil about the bodies given to Adam and Eve by God. Unlike us, they had nothing to hide in the beginning. Perhaps you will be able to run around in your nudie suit when you get glorified in Heaven, but until then, you will have to practice a little modesty and discretion, jungle boy.

Exactly, it was them and God. So what if they were nude, but they didn't know what that meant. When they did they hid. Then they knew right and wrong.
Do you use the knowledge of good and evil which Jesus delivered us from, in order to judge your thoughts?
Do you believe it's not you but Christ who lives in you?

Even with their great bodies they fled to be clothed.
Second, hasn't Jesus delivered us from the knowledge of good and evil by His perfect sacrifice according to Romans7:6?
If moral comprehension was not forbidden, why did they flee from God's presence due to guilt of staying unclothed after they chose the moral knowledge?

the scripture connects nakedness to the exposing of one's shame.
before they had sin, they had no reason to be ashamed.
they clothed themselves because they were ashamed - insufficiently ((of course))
however when they confessed their sin and looked to Him, God gave them garments able to cover their shame, through the shedding of blood. innocent blood, poured out for the forgiveness of sin.
substitutionary atonement
only God can provide such a covering -- 'can a man give his life a ransom for his soul?'
Bible says they were unclothed before they started to have the forbidden knowledge of good and evil. Bible also says they sought to be clothed after they started to have the forbidden knowledge of good and evil.

It's really good...I highly recommend it. It's all about the two trees in the garden...the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life.

Bible says...
All humans are born without the knowledge of good and evil (Deut1:39). All are born with faith in Jesus (Mathew 18:6). Growing up they chose it. Jesus delivered us it by His perfect sacrifice.
