What is the name of Nehemiah's father?

(I was reading Nehemiah this morning and came across this....and thought, that would be a great Bible Trivia question!)

Great question! My answer is...

The Lord gave David the written "blue print" pattern for the Temple and utensils.

1 Chronicles 28:19 KJV

19 All this, said David, the Lord made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

Where in the Old Testament is there a "miracle of the multiplication of the loaves"?
Another great question!

I'm recalling a story about Elijah being hungry and a widow woman in Zarephath that had only enough flour and oil to bake a cake for her and her son and then die...yet, Elijah said make a cake for him first and she never ran out of flour or oil during the entire duration of the famine in the land....

1 Kings 17:9-16 KJV

9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.

We need some fun easy questions for new believers....

Put the Days of Creation in order....:love:(y)

- God created the fish and the birds
- God divided the waters and called the space between them sky/heaven
- God said, "Let there be Light!" and it was so.
- God blessed the day and rested
- God created all the creepy crawly bugs, animals and man
- God created the dry land, seas and all plant life
- God created the sun, moon and stars

2 Kings 4:42-44
Now a man came from Baal-shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, “Give them to the people that they may eat.” 43 And his attendant said, “What, shall I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the LORD, ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’” 44 So he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.
