It's been close to four years now... I am not sure how many there are in total

Romans 8:15-16
:)
Magenta . . . I LOVE them! They always fill my heart with the Color of the Spirit of God. They always have a positive feeling to them, which is very important to me. I like to see positive people; positive ideas . . . I like to see Love in action and in your case, in picture form.

I appreciate you, Magenta. :)

Thank you! I have learned a little more about the program I use as I use it, and so some older ones
I am going back to make small improvements, for instance making the font more legible. Like so :D

Yes. I see the difference. The lettering is darker and the white background for the lettering is solid white instead of softly blending in. Good call. :)

Jesus of Nazareth, on His quest to fulfill all righteousness, stated that water baptism is righteous.

Matthew 3:15
15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Jesus was able to fulfill all righteousness which involves more then getting dunked in water. He must have had complete mastery over His heart and mind as well. He avoided even the most secretive of sins in the darkest recesses of the human heart and mind where only God can see.

Unlike Jesus, we can not fulfill all righteousness, though many have tried and all have failed.

So if Jesus had not been water baptized He would not have fulfilled all righteousness and He would not have been perfect. Think about that.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is Effectual, meaning that this Spiritual Baptism will CAUSE a person's heart to desire to be baptized in water. This equates to Jesus doing the Will of His Father. Jesus would never refuse water Baptism, because He came to do the Will of His Father. Jesus was perfect; is perfect, and will always be perfect.

John 4:34 NKJV - "Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."

Many tip toe around the word baptism. Call it as it is.....it is as important to a soul as repentance.
One should take notice how little ...repentance...is included in commentary?
Unbelievable.

Why ...dunked...when the Bible says...baptism?
What word do you substitute for...repentance?
They are both required for cleansing of sin.

Just curious as to why you would ignore post #60.

John the Baptist presumably baptized Jesus like this example:

Acts 8:38
38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Together they went into the water and John baptized Jesus. Must have dunked Him. You can say John dipped Him, too, as long as it’s clear that water baptism is full immersion in water.

op: STRESS baptism enough?
Or, better would be: WHY is water baptism So STRESSFUL??? ie:

Some say: "it IS Necessary for salvation"
Others?: No, it is NOT necessary for salvation, BUT, it IS
Necessary for (symbolism) obedience.

What I cannot figure out, is it necessary or not?

Then, we have all this traditional denominational Confusion! ie:
-------------------------------------
1) believe AND be baptized {i.e. immersion to contact their Christ's blood}?

2) immersion with a symbolic interpretation?

3) immersion ONCE in the "name of Jesus?

4) immersion THRICE in the "name of the Triune Godhead?

5) immersion {whether once or thrice} for "membership" in their traditional assembly?

6) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into religion washing away their original sin?

7) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into some covenant?

8) sprinkling water on babies inducting them into their parent's custody that they promise to raise them right? {into Mass Confusion?}

9) sprinkling water on babies, admitting that their ritual is UNscriptural, but "we do it anyway, because it is OUR tradition!"?

10) pouring water onto babies or adults for Whatever traditional reason religion "can come up with"?

11) immersion of young and middle-aged women 'similar' to worldly/ungodly 'wet t-shirt' contests?

12) immersion Discriminates Against ALL "those who CANNOT 'obey' this ritual" ie: the hospitalized, the bedridden, the homebound, the invalids, the traumatized, etc.
------------------------------------------
Of course, IF anyone is at all interested, God's Answer to
all this Confusion is already posted in # 14.

One "reply" to that was: "As usual, no sense whatsoever." So, go figure,
guess Much UNnecessary STRESS will remain about water baptism, until:

Great GRACE Departure, eh?

GRACE And Peace...

I'm sure you have some good thoughts to share if you'd just come out with it. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.
Certainly do:

For the WHOLE law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

How is it when I love my neighbor, fulfilling ALL the law in ONE Word, that
that has anything to do with an OT Ceremonial "ritual" that is not Even
REQUIRED, By God, Today, Under PURE GRACE!?

Probably not a "good thought," since it is Totally Contrary to all the Mass
Confusion, eh?

We don't see too many people loving others as much as they seem to love themselves. What does this say about a person's heart who consistently renders others as stupid? Regenerate or unregenerate?

You are absolutely right. Given what Peter preached on the day of Pentecost, and what he COMMANDED in the house of Cornelius, one would think that every preacher worth his salt would make sure that those who hear the Gospel also hear about Christ's command to be baptized. And water baptism is neither for (a) the forgiveness of sins, nor is it (b) for regeneration. It is for full identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ -- "buried in the likeness of His death and raised to walk in newness of life".
"For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Rom 6:5-6

No verse should be taken in isolation...But we should not mislead people into thinking that baptism washes away sins...
I agree with your statement that we should not mislead people. So for the record, Acts 2:38 is not the only scripture that directly references the connection between water baptism and remission of sin. Ananias instructed Paul that his sins would be washed away upon obedience to baptism. (Acts 22:16)

Also important to note is that John the Baptist introduced water baptism for remission of sin as seen throughout the gospels. (Mark 1:1-4, Luke 3:3, ...)

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Acts 9:17-18
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
