Let me make this simple for you. You don't have a love relationship with GOD when you have separation in your life ...repeated willful sin. Hello? Is this not obvious?
According to you, then, Paul did not know what he was talking about, since he was addressing believers
with sin in their lives when he spoke of their bodies being temples within which the Holy Spirit dwelt.

Yeah, so ...what is the condition of that Temple you have? Is it something The HOLY SPIRIT can Dwell in? So how do i know He isn't in you? This:

umm, so you are suggesting that GOD made an evil tree? what?

you are suggesting the tree God made is evil.
i am saying, God made that tree, therefore it the tree is not evil per se -- and i'm sure @Dino246 is in agreement with me about that.

from reading the thread, it is evident to me that you arrive at that conclusion as a direct result of your refusal to acknowledge that Genesis 2-3 is a record of actual, literal people, places & events. this is putting some of your thinking at odds with the whole council of scripture.

First you ask a question... which appears good at first. Then later you act like you have the answer, and imply that others are clueless. That shows that your question wasn't honest, but an attempt at baiting.

dang, post does that sometimes too :censored:

i hope i am more gentle about it, nonjudgmental, and open to learning more than i think i know

Instead of assuming the worst of people you have never met, how about you start demonstrating that you are saved (as you imply) by treating others with respect and grace.

((rolls eyes)) Right, so you are fighting to be a slave to sin ...for no reason ...that makes sense.
No, really, tell us now of all these sins you keep saying I am harboring. You pretend to know things
you do not and then roll your eyes when you are called out and hoisted by your own petard? Figures.

Look, a Child of GOD would not allow repeated sin in their life because The HOLY SPIRIT Grieving inside you is not something you take lightly ...and then continue doing the sin. You are still walking in the flesh.

Still waiting for that list...
You walked up to The Cross ...but never got on it.

You want a sin listed ...well, it almost always is related to drugs or a sexual act ...and if it isn't ...what in the world is wrong with you? The rest is easy to Overcome with The Power of JESUS.

hmm
looking at Genesis 10, Egypt is a son of Ham, and Nimrod a son of Cush.
Nimrod began his empire with Babylon - but nothing is said there about Egypt striving with God in this chapter

so while Egypt ((the land)) may have been founded before or concurrent with Babylon, Babylon seems to be the first to rebel against God

Nimrod's name actually literally means rebellion;
Egypt is actually a Greek word meaning 'burnt faces'
in Hebrew the word for Egypt ((what's actually written in Genesis 10:6)) is Mitsrayim which appears to mean "two straights" or "doubly pressed" or something similar?

interesting

God hadn’t made his covenant with Abraham at that time. Abraham hadn’t even born yet. Actually, it was right after the Tower of Babel episode, God split the people into 70 nations with 70 original languages, and he made a decision to choose Abraham as his people- whose forefather was Peleg among those 70 nations, while all the other nations were given to the “watcher” angels; and through Abraham, he will redeem all nations, that’s the big picture.

Still waiting for that list. You claim to know but resort to guessing? In other words: you lie. Repeatedly.

Ok. This verbiage sounds exactly like the guy who has been banned at least twice for his sinless perfection doctrine, yet somehow thinks deceptively creating accounts to get away from the ban isn’t sin.

Is that you?
