Yes. The Bible states what you've quoted. I was just noting that A & E didn't have children until after the fall.

If God taught Adam "everything male and female, and every seed unto its own", then provided Adam with what he needed to procreate (Eve), why would God forbid him to do so? That just doesn't make any sense. That's right up there with mid and post trib rapture, what's the point?

could it possibly be because (some of us) we cook/bake?

After all, they say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach ;)

I'm going to guess that they were. It could explain Adam's eating the fruit she offered him despite the fact that he had just listened to her conversation with the serpent. He was p-whipped. Or, maybe to be more fair, he was now totally intimate with this woman which would make him more vulnerable to her. If I were going to try to get him to fall, I'd wait until they did the deed.
