Seriously though, I might should do that again!:cool:
I always thought it was kind of funny how someone would inevitably come along and accuse you
of using up all the good songs already when I could find a multitude of others that fit your criteria

Its quite good I remember reading it before it was made into a movie. And yes Steve Martin stars in with Claire Danes as the shopgirl

I remember the line 'I am from Vermont'

btw I have worked as a shopgirl. But not in hats and gloves and no creepy older men tried to hit on me as I was selling books. I am not sure I would have gone out with a customer like she did.

Oh, come on... If I do it, it'll just turn into a guy thing and burn out quick.
Many such threads have come and gone in the years I have been here, and some got quite involved in the details of this and that, depending on who was talking about what... Even threads on books that have turned into talking about books turned into movies or miniseries, with ensuing discussions about which were best and who played whatever character best. Sigh. There were some great conversations there :D I remember Tinuviel and Galatea with much fondness :):):) We shared a love of Jane Austen :D Galatea even started a book club thread...

The current global debt is 253 Trillion
If you could spend 1 dollar per second, that's 86,400 dollars per day, it would take you 8,022,577 years to spend 253 Trillion

Really? Our solar system gained another planet? When was the party? Why didn't anyone tell me? o_O
It's a dwarf planet so it's not really one of the big 8. :) There are several. Pluto was downgraded to a dwarf planet because it hasn't cleared its orbit.

You know you're getting old when they start "downgrading" your grade-school education...

Easily!

Also constantly and prolifically. The problem with asking me for a song that fits a given parameter is, it's hard to shut me up once I get started.

Pirates wore eye patches so their eye would always be acclimatised to the darkness, allowing them to see in the darkness below decks in an instant.

Speaking of useless information: We computer nerds do not take pride in our arcane knowledge of the Dark Digital Arts. On the contrary we wish we didn't have to know all this junk.

"Oh you're using the Chrome APP, not the Chrome EXTENSION. They look almost the same but they handle window creation very differently" is something I hope I can stop saying soon.
