That is not the Scripture definition of antichrist.

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
that makes MANY people anti-christ, as they do not confess Him or that Jesus came in the flesh.

also they do not care about Christians, who do confess Jesus so it is rather obvious who is anti-christ

muslims deny the Son and so do Jews (except for Messianic Jews)

Scientists Have Developed a Way to Make Wood as Strong as Steel
DAVID NIELD

9 FEBRUARY 2018

Scientists have developed a new type of "super wood" that is more than 10 times stronger and tougher than normal wood - and this innovation could potentially become a natural and inexpensive substitute for steel and other materials.

Key to the new wood's superpowers is a special chemical treatment followed by a heated compression process. The resulting chemical bonds make the wood strong enough to one day be used in buildings and vehicles.

It could even take a turn in new armour plating – the researchers fired bullet-like projectiles at their new super wood and found they got lodged in the material rather than blasting their way through, as they did with standard-strength wood.
really

So how do they grow this wood?
Kauri wood was used for buildings and vehicles. It was used to build ships and practically all the houses in Auckland and Trams.

But now there are hardly any Kauri trees left. Thats why we now have a housing crisis.

It did not have to be treated chemically either, while other wood does have to be otherwise it rots.

THough it takes hundreds of years for these Kauri trees to reach maturity. They are SOLID

Houses made of earth and brick though, can last a long time, thousands of years.
They wont burn down either as easily as wooden homes.

But earthquakes can damage them. Nothing is really bomb or disaster proof.
also nothing to stop skyscrapers from collapsing (9-11) anyone?

anyway. back to topic
apparently sanctions are not working. so saying russia cant do this or that is making the leader more of a bully. Ok Im so sorry that your country doesnt get much sun, But I (and everyone else) cannot do much about that.

However, surely it is great in other ways.
Think harder Mr Putin.

There are a variety of interpretations, basically that they get fuel that lasts for seven years. I heard someone explain how nuclear fuel would last for 7 years. I don't know what this means, what exactly they are burning for seven years, but I do believe it means God delivers a gift to Israel with this army and it will supply them for 7 years with fuel for fire.
you can burn anything for seven years if you have enough of it.

whatever is in the missiles or whatever weapons they are using.

apparently modern day herbicides and insectides were just leftovers from world war 2 chemical weapons.

ok

my thought is if Russia wanted to diversify its economy, and establish friendly relations with neighbouring countries, it should go into tulip production.

Tulips origninally thrive in Russian lands. The bulbs love the cold climate and burst into a riot of colour come spring. The bulbs are easily transportable, and when grown in quantity are spectacular.

Also, tulips make people happy. If neighbouring countries DID want to bomb Russia, the bombs should be flower bombs.

I have been unhappy with the news coverage of the Ukraine invasion by Russia.

They do a decent job of showing the advance of the Russian army throughout the Ukraine and showing the humanitarian crisis taking place in Ukraine. No issue with that.

The first thing that really peeves me about this coverage is their assertion that Putin is surprised by the pushback from Ukraine. How do they know that? They say he expected to just roll on through, how do they know that? The population of Ukraine and Iraq are very similar. Desert storm lasted 43 days, at this point it hasn't even been two weeks into the Ukraine invasion and we had the entire world arrayed against Iraq.

The second thing that bothers me how easily they dismiss Russian complaints. How are we to get to a peaceful resolution if we do not understand and consider their complaints?

The third thing they dismiss is Russia's claim that they are "de nazifying" Ukraine. 20 million people died in Ukraine during WWII. No one has an issue with Israel taking steps to make sure that they don't get another holocaust where 6 million Jews died then why is it so ridiculous that Russia would take steps to make sure WWII doesn't happen again? It is very clear to everyone that Ukraine wants to be part of NATO, it seems reasonable to me that this would be a concern for Russia considering what happened the last time Europe's forces were in Ukraine.

The fourth thing is the irresponsible rhetoric of "leaders" calling for a no fly zone or even the assassination of Putin. So instead of listening to him, instead of treating Russia with respect we'll just ignore all that and call for his assassination for "war crimes". There hasn't even been a trial, no evidence is presented, yet we'll just jump to our own war crime. It is very hard for me to listen to a guy calling for the assassination of the president of another country tell me that this is to right the wrongs of war crimes. My thought is if we are going to start prosecuting for war crimes let's start with this guy. Didn't the democrats accuse Trump of inciting violence and that is what they want to prosecute him for? If that is the case then shouldn't we prosecute those calling for the assassination of the Russian president?

Then it can be known in history as the war of the tulips.

I'm pretty sure this will be known in history as the "Green Revolution War".
I agree that this will be seen as "green" and as you said in post #727 the media I'm sort-of unhappy with their coverage of things. It's interesting to note(many may not be unaware of it) but in Russia there is only 7% of it's land that is "arable", (can be plowed/planted) the rest of Russia is mountains or the winters so long that it cannot grow mass crops. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agriculture_in_Russia

Arable land then to Russia is an premium resource and one of the parts of the former USSR for agriculture is Ukraine. Ukraine(formerly known as "the Ukraine" but is now an offensive term to Ukrainians) is equivalent to the bread-basket of he USA(area in the middle of the US where most crops, livestock ect. are grown) and so to Russia after the breakup of the USSR it lost a vast amount of arable land that it formerly relied on to keep them from importing staple foods. Especially now(2022) with the earth's population approaching 9 billion Russia would be or become completely dependent upon food imports to survive(think agenda 21).

Anyway Putin keeps referencing things like "Nazi,ww2, USSR ect." as if he is reflecting back on the events of WW2(Germany invaded Ukraine and controlled it) but he may be trying to conceal his true agenda. In the years prior to ww2 but after the great depression there was the Holodomor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor in the in the Ukraine(USSR then) and Putin may be invading them now to regain that arable land back into it's possession to avoid food import dependency.

was reading this article about the tulips in Netherlands. Now dont want to take away business from the Dutch, but, in a good year they made 7.6 billion euros.

And they have hardly any land on which to grow tulips anyway (they reclaim it from the sea) so if they want to dump their unwanted tulips to Russia, then maybe Russia could recover from their slump by diversifying their exports.

Also, fields of flowers make great tourist drawcards. Have you seen the Kremlin, if the Russians have a flair for colour in their buildings imagine what their gardens could look like in spring. They could get everyone there by the trans siberian railway or orient express and peoole could stay in Dachas and eat dumplings and experience a bit of Chekhov. Then they could see the Bolshoi ballet and some Siberian tigers.

food security is important for a country, not sure how they (Russia) is surviving, but what do other countries in similar climate zones have to eat?

Consider that Russia is risking being annihilated in this war. That isn't hyperbole, look what we have done to their stock market, banks and currency. Not only so but Russia is on high alert for nuclear weapons. Put yourself in their shoes, what would cause you to take such a big risk?

Russia was almost annihilated during WWII, since then the USSR collapsed in 1991. As a result Russia as an economy is on a similar scale as the state of NY! It is hard to maintain your status as a superpower with such a small economy. Now if NATO were to let the Ukraine become part of their club the situation for Russia would become even more dire.

So I see Russia between a rock and a hard place. They can see a steady decline over the course of the last 70 years and if you stay on this road you will be annihilated.

The one thing Russia has is oil, if they can use that to keep Germany and therefore NATO out of the Ukraine conflict they can seize Ukraine. With Ukraine Russia will have both oil and wheat. If they can then seize the Mid East and take control of OPEC then Russia can have oil, wheat and money. The world's money is based on the petro dollar, whoever controls the Mid East controls the money.

So call him crazy, but he has a plan to make Russia a preeminent superpower again. If he does nothing he knows that Russia will soon be irrelevant, on the same level as France or even Spain. So we know he is all in, there is no bluff, his threat to go nuclear is legit and he sees himself as fighting the other superpowers for supremacy (hence his claim that he is at war with the US and Europe after they debanked him). He knows if he controls the oil and wheat for Europe they won't attack him, if he can seize the Mid East he will break the back of these ones who debanked him.

I guess this is why renewable energy is improtant, because the less oil needed by others then the markets would even out
I am not sure if they want to take the middle east because its so cheap they are undercutting russias oil prices and see it as competition.

so maybe its all a bit counterproductive. Who is buying all the oil?
and wasnt it the US providing Russia with wheat?

Im not an expert but countries shouldnt be scrapping over fossil fuels anymore. That ship has sailed a long time ago. We KNOW that its bad for the environment yet nothing has been done to stop the consumption.

ok it used to be that the US provided Russia with wheat and now its the other way round. But apparently China will now buy Russias wheat and turn it into noodles.

They didnt really need it before as most chinese people ate rice, but wheat is more popular in the north.

"He has shown that he does not value human life and he will do whatever he has to for this Russian empire" Nikki Haley

Biden stopped sending the missiles last year we had pledged to send to Ukraine because he didn't want to upset Russia.

Russia has already seized two nuclear power plants. They can crash the power grid any time they want.

Meanwhile Biden is sending money to Russia for oil helping to pay Russia for the attack.
