What does this have to do with the meaning of 'kingdom of God' and 'kingdom of heaven' and if there isa difference?
Nothing . Just a way to avoid the question/discussion

No, I was trying to stick with the kingdom of heaven v. kingdom of God question. I didn't think associating one with the coming kingdom of Israel and the other not fit the use of the wording in the Gospels.

Restoring the kingdom to Israel is a specific thing. I think that will be an expression of the kingdom of God since Christ is the King. But the kingdom of God is broader than that, encompassing other eras of history.

When Jesus ate dinner with "Tax Collectors and sinners" He was being a friend to them. Not once was Jesus telling those who were indeed sinners to "Stop stealing, stop whoring", or anything else like that.

Jesus was a Friend To Sinners.

Jesus didn't tell Zacheus to do anything... Zacheus offered.

Somehow people already know right from wrong.

The word "Gospel" literally means "Good News" .
How bad a person is in God's view is NOT good news. And it's not my job to tell them. It IS MY JOB to tell them how much God has done for me and how good God is. AND how a personal relationship with a loving and kind God is always good.
That sounds more like good news that how I have screwed up over and over again.
All this is very true, but it is also true the Christ wants us to live a life that reflects Him. When the message Christ brought us was summed up it was "repent, the kingdom of heaven is near".

When Jesus saved the woman caught in adultery from being stoned, Christ said "go, and sin no more".

Jesus told us that if we love Him we will obey Him.

Paul did not go around saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The message was for Israel only. Miracles accompanied this message.

Matthew 10
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Let’s take a look at the events given by Luke.

Luke 9
1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

Later…

Luke 18
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They had no understanding of the gospel Paul preached.

Later…

Luke 24
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

Even after the resurrection, the disciples had no clue and did not believe it.
“Paul did not go around saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The message was for Israel only. Miracles accompanied this message”

right oaul was giving revelation ofnthe kingdom Jesus preached first to Israel and then it was sent to all nations from Israel . No absolutely not it’s not for israel only it came first to israel and was then sent to all nations because they rejected it apart from the remnant who believed l the early church who went and then preached the same message to the Gentiles

there is No other gospel it began in Israel d was spread to the rest of the nations. I think people should understand the gospels that are written were preached to all people they still are today being preached time someone believes and shares it.

Paul is a servant and witness of Jesus and the gospel that’s all he is no more and no less. He was part king with the other apostles of this

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Again it’s not only for israel it was before his death and resurrection then it was sent to all people. This was Paul and the apostles role

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And this is what Paul was preaching forst to the Jews who rejected it and then to all people ….

“And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, ( Israel ) and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: ….

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:23-26, 28, 30-31‬ ‭

just as a brother the whole idea of “ the gospel of grace “ being a different gospel is a false doctrine that is teaching people to reject christs word of life by claiming “ it’s not for the church it was for Old Testament israel only “

that’s just another way of getting people away from Gods true word preached by Jesus Christ first to Israel and then to all the world beginning at Jerusalem

I’ve heard ll the arguments by the Joseph prince crowd they are misled in imagining a different way of salvstion than what Hod made very clear when he spoke it himself. The apostles are his servants and witnesses of the gospel of the kingdom this includes Paul

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul was a revelator of the one and only gospel just like John and Peter one gospel many witnesses preached by Jesus first to the Jews and spread d witnessed by his apostles to all the world.

your message there of “ Paul’s different gospel “ is not something I would ever be deceived by. The scripture is way too clear and I would never put my faith in anyone but Jesus knowing who he is and what he said.

so you might want to look for some fertile ground for that my soul is already planted The with the true Gospel paul
And the apostles believed and taught because it was preached to them first

a Joseph prince book isn’t going to change that for me

What Did Jesus Want Preached and Done
God chose Abraham and the people of Israel as His inheritance. God promised Abraham that all the kindreds of the world would be blessed in him. He gave him a promise about his Seed, which refers to Christ. In the Psalms, God tells the Messiah to ask and He will give the nations for His inheritance.

Jesus Christ was declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead. All authority was given to Him in heaven and on earth. The nations belong to Him. God not only interacts with Israel, but the nations are Christ's. So God is calling all men to repent.

When Jesus, after the resurrection, declared that the nations had been given to Him, what did he want the disciples to do? Let us look:

Luke 24
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

We can compare to I Corinthians 15:1-5. Paul's gospel included 'according to the scriptures.' Compare that to verse 44 above. Compare Paul's points in that chapter-- died, buried, rose again-- to Luke 24:46. Verse 47 tells what Jesus wanted preached. Peter's application of that is through baptism in Acts 2:38.

Consider what Jesus wanted done for spreading the Gospel in Matthew 28.
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Matthew 28
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus wanted them to go, teach the nations, baptize them, and teach them to observe what he taught.

So what should we focus on when winning souls? We should focus on preaching and doing:
- That Jesus suffered
- That Jesus rose
- Repentance and forgiveness of sins through His name
- Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
- Teaching them to observe Christ's teaching through the apostles.

And all this can be informed with other scripture--- teaching that Christ's sufferings were 'for our sins' for example. We can urge people to be baptized for the remission of sins and tell them to was away their sins, calling upon the name of the Lord, as we see in Acts 22.

If we are going to do this the way Jesus wanted, we should do so, and we should follow the apostle's on how to do that, since this is implied in Matthew 28:19-20.

People Need to Hear the Word to Believe
Also, Romans 10 say that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. We are persuading people that a Man rose from the dead. They actually have to have faith. In dealing with an unchurched unbeliever, how likely is it that bits and pieces of the Gospel or other loosely related Evangelical concepts, are going to produce faith? Isn't it better to give them a complete understanding of the Gospel than to quickly march them through a prayer ritual invented about 70 years ago (which has since been stripped of the death of Christ on the cross for our sins and His resurrection)?

To preach forth the gospel

“Speak Of the manger where lord Jesus lay .

So tell of God with us , in Jesus name pray .

The father in heaven said this is my son

the spirit upon him that made him of one

Good shepherd , messiah and savior of Life.

Our dear friend who stays true , in toil and strife.

speak in the shadows , the words of the light .

converting the darkness and healing men’s sight.

Speak of repentance that turns us from sin.

that terrible creature and killer of men.

Speak Of the hammer that drove the nails through

tell them he did this for All and for you.

Speak of his bleeding his torture and shame.

then witness remission of sins in his name.

tell them his judgements , what he said is right .

and preach of atonement and scarlet made white.

Tell them of treasures in heaven behold ,

speak of the kingdom where men grow not old

tell them of mammon to share with the poor.

tell them to give and He’ll bless them With more.

speak of the Father the spirit and son. Tell them his promise and that HE is one

preach the Lord Jesus who came from above .

And teach them of mercy , forgiveness and Love.

Emplore them to follow and Bid them all Near

then tell them He’s coming some day , in some year .

and if they will hear you , then praise his great name .

Now go out some elsewhere and do all the same !

Those are the same thing. It's only called Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew while in Mark and Luke it's Kingdom of God. The reason for that is a dogma among the Jewish people, that God's name is so holy that they shall not utter, so they wouldn't take the Lord's name in vain. They use heaven, God's dwelling place as a synonum of God. Today you'll still see somebody type G-d as a redacted version of God, that's an indicator of this dogma.

And yet not in any kingdom parables. Even when it's the same parable, it's always Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew whereas it's Kingdom of God in Mark and Luke.

Sooo, it’s not the word God, but kingdom of God that was forbidden to say? The two words are not the same. God is a spirit. Heaven is a created place.

Nonetheless they are the same - the millennial kingdom, where all the saints reign with Christ.

Once again ppl!

You waste time & energy preparing a lithany of verse to witness.
What is being discussed here KOG,KOH is irrelevant.

We need to keep it simple! Ppl will NOT just stand and let you witness to them.

An expose' on Jn.3 :16,well prepared explaining his deity, his love, his purpose, his mission & his forgiveness is enough to prick hearts by the HS.
