Just in case that wasnt enough, a few more on God's soverignty:

Psalm 115:3 ESV /
Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
Daniel 4:35 ESV /
All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”
Proverbs 21:1 ESV /
The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.
Isaiah 46:10 ESV /
Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
Proverbs 19:21 ESV /
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Psalm 135:6 ESV /
Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.
Ephesians 1:11 ESV /
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
Psalm 103:19 ESV
The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.
Romans 8:28 ESV /
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Proverbs 16:33 ESV /
The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.
Proverbs 16:9 ESV /
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
1 Chronicles 29:11 ESV /
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
Romans 9:18 ESV /
So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
Proverbs 16:4 ESV /
The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.
Great scriptures in the KJV. Again, words matter.

The entire Oliver Discourse. Don’t forget your spoon, eat it one bite at a time.

Don’t bother to slap Noah or Lot at me over and over again. Neither of them was snapped “in the twinkling of an eye” and rewarded with heavenly, incorruptible body by your definition of “rapture”. Neither the Ark nor “laid hold” is that “rapture”.
Never said they were.
You got a knack for reading some words and never hearing what is said.

You have done that over and over.

You switch the dynamics.
Slippery and dodging what is written.

The olivet discourse has a gathering POSTRIB by ANGELS, NOT JESUS, FROM HEAVEN, NOT EARTH.

TRY AGAIN.

I need a postrib RAPTURE verse.

Sorry, man. Immediately AFTER the tribulation the ELECT will be gathered from all the earth.
Matthew 24:29-31's "GREAT" trumpet corresponds with that of Isaiah 27:[9,]12-13... besides the "WHEN" and gathered BY WHOM, note WHO, and TO WHERE (and to WHAT END), and IN WHAT MANNER they are gathered ("ye shall be gathered ONE BY ONE, O ye children of Israel" [NOT "AS ONE" as WE will be in "our SNATCH / RAPTURE [IN THE AIR]"]... and further, they will be gathered "to worship the Lord in the holy mount AT JERUSALEM" [that is, gathered unto one place UPON THE EARTH])

[let the readers compare Isaiah 27:9 with both Romans 11:27 and the Daniel 9:24-27 prophecy regarding "thy [Daniel's] people," and "thy [Daniel's] holy city" ... as well as all the prophecies involving the "UNTIL" (regarding same) ;) ]

Your tolerance is note worthy and your advice is true.
Many get on here and display knowledge of little exposure to scriptures because....... dust is on their Bible.
Since you've dusted off your Bible, could you point me to the verse that has Jesus taking glorified believers to heaven please?

Did you even comprehend my last post? Denial and misdirection is the way of the post-tribber. I mean what else is there left for you to do? Scriptural support and rational arguments are out the window along with integrity and truth.
One thing is true. You guys don't hesitate to lie.

I've posted the verses that prove that there is just one resurrection, (Matt 22:30, Luke 14:14, Acts 24:15, 1 Cor 15:23) and there ain't no trip to heaven with it. And that single resurrection will be at the Second Advent (2 Thess 2:1, Rev 220:5).

Please feel free to address any of these verses and prove they don't say what I say they say.

I need a postrib RAPTURE verse.
And here they are.

Acts 24:15 - and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. 1 for the saved, and 1 for the unsaved. Got it?

1 Cor 15:23 - But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

"when He comes" is a reference to the Second Advent. "those who belong to Him" refers to every believer ever.

Therefore, all believers will be resurrected "when He comes".

2 Thess 2:1 - Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,

"the coming of our Lord" is the Second Advent. "our being gathered to Him" is where the living believers get their glorified bodies.

Rev 20:5 - (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

So, we see from Scripture that there will be just one resurrection for all believers. And it will obviously and clearly be "when He comes", which is the Second Advent, and Rev 20:5 clearly proves that.

Now, quit asking and just believe the Bible.

This is no "coming" as you presume.

In fact, before the flood, 8 were taken INTO the ark, the archetype for Jesus Christ. EVERYONE else was "left behind" to drown.

[QUOET]But hey, ignore it... .it is over your head[/QUOTE]
Good pun. But that's all.

Words matter to God and they should matter to us. Sovereignty is not a biblical term. I absolutely believe that God reigns supreme over all things, but has given responsibility over to man to make choices. Satan is the god of this world, the ruler of the darkness. Ultimately, God's word will prevail as stated. We can get on board or not.

Calvin believes all things that occur have been ordained by God making God the author of sin.

Point? If you want to discuss sovereignty it deserves its own thread.

Sorry, man. Immediately AFTER the tribulation the ELECT will be gathered from all the earth. Also, while still in the midst of the Tribulation, for the ELECT’s sake those days will be shortened.
1) Redeemed Israelite believers......being brought back to their homeland Israel.
2) Both Israelite and Gentile believers who will be preserved alive through to the millennium.

There are no Christians in the midst of the tribulation. They have been raptured beforehand. The earth dwellers consist of ONLY Israelites and Gentiles.

Another swinging a miss as far as you are concerned. Pretty embarrassing really.

I can agree with you there ^ ; except (in my view) neither section (and NONE of His Olivet Discourse) is covering the Subject of "our Rapture [IN THE AIR]," but of His Second Coming TO THE EARTH (Rev19) FOR the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom age (aka "the wedding FEAST / SUPPER," not the "MARRIAGE" itself)... basically the same as Lk12:35,36,37,38,40,42-44 is speaking about, where it states, "when he will RETURN FROM the wedding" (i.e. as an ALREADY-WED "Bridegroom")... THEN the meal [G347; see also this word used in Matt8:11 and parallel--speaking of the earthly MK age--commencing upon His "RETURN" to the earth]"

[the "one taken" is taken away in judgement (just as in Noah's day) and the one "left" is left to ENTER the earthly MK age in their mortal bodies (just as in Noah's day)... "saints / the righteous / Sheep" ONLY--no "goats" (again, "our Rapture [IN THE AIR]" is not the Subject Jesus is covering ANYWHERE in His Olivet Discourse)]
Look
Anybody can see it and read it

It is the EXACT MIRROR of the rapture. Vivid, vivid picture.

Mat 24
37 and as the days of Noah -- so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man;
38 for as they were, in the days before the flood, eating, and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, till the day Noah entered into the ark,
39 and they did not know till the flood came and took all away; so shall be also the presence of the Son of Man.
40 Then two men shall be in the field, the one is received, and the one is left;
41 two women shall be grinding in the mill, one is received, and one is left.
42 `Watch ye therefore, because ye have not known in what hour your Lord doth come;
43 and this know, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief doth come, he had watched, and not suffered his house to be broken through;
44 because of this also ye, become ye ready, because in what hour ye do not think, the Son of Man doth come.

1 before the flood(pretrib)
2 eating and drinking...no trib, no ac
3 noah enters ark PRETRIB
4 ARK IS CARRIED MORE THAN A MILE INTO THE SKY ( as is the church)
5 Judgement hits and noah RETURNS FROM THE HEAVENS POSTJUDGEMENT., to the earth

Still not convinced?

Then..( at that same timeframe of " before the flood" )
One taken/ the other left.
THEN
THE VERY NEXT SENTENCE IS ;
" Watch ye therefore, because ye have not known in what hour your Lord doth come;"

PRECISE VIVID RAPTURE DEPICTION.

DW RESPONSE;
"THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE"

SMH

AND YOU DO THE SAME THING WITH THE VIRGIN PARABLE.

OVER ONE VERSE ;

" ....return from the wedding....."

Psssst....of course he returns to earth from the wedding in heaven.

That proves nothing at all.

You are determined for whatever reason, to make the marriage supper on earth when Jesus depicted it in heaven at the last supper.

Quote by dw; """the "one taken" is taken away in judgement (just as in Noah's day) and the one "left" is left to ENTER the earthly MK age in their mortal bodies (just as in Noah's day)... "saints / the righteous / """

You wanna know why that DOESN'T WORK???

We are talking half the people in the group depicted as "the one taken, one left"
. So therefore under your template, which incorporates a 50/50 pattern we have half the population of the world saved and righteous, and the other half of the population of the world the wicked.
Jesus is still talking in the time frame of "Before the Flood". So under your model, before the flood, (which would be pre-trib) ,half the wicked are taken in judgment which would be half the population of the world (,according to your model,) and half the population of the world are righteous or saved.
But what is even stranger is that you have in your model two people in a bed (a satanic devil worshiper), in bed with a righteous saved born again Christian. So nothing of that fits.

but even beyond all that bizarre transposing that your model does, is the very next sentence says "watch and be ready for the coming of the Lord."
So in your model we see the wicked are the ones that are leaving and they are the ones that need to watch and wait for the Lord because he's going to take them away .????
I can tell you right now that absolutely none of that fits. But it mirrors exactly the pre-tribulation rapture.
But you don't stop there you go ahead and reframe the Virgin parable, which is another Vivid clear mirror of the rapture, because you got some problem with half those virgins left behind. Even though it fits perfectly with the pre-trib Rapture model as does the one taken one left where Jesus immediately says watch and be ready.
So you miss it on both instances ,(one right after another.) If you stop and think about it there is nothing anywhere in scripture where half the earth population is righteous and half is wicked. It does not exist anywhere in Scripture.
Yet in your model that is exactly what you are implying.
BTW ,The wicked have always had the righteous outnumbered over 10 to 1.
It does not make any sense what you're trying to make those two Dynamics say.
The ONLY 50 / 50 group is the carnal believers and the bride.

Half the church.

There is no other 50/50 group.
And....that also fits the "2 in a bed" dynamic.
The righteous taken, therefore watch and be ready.

There is no such thing as wicked taken, and Jesus telling those wicked,
"watch and be ready"

If it was really all that important to you , you would be learning Greek and Hebrew.
God has preserved His holy words in English in the KJV. No need to study Greek or Hebrew.

Any one know what great crime brought on great tribulation ?
RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD, THE SENDING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE LOSS OF POWER WHICH DEATH PREVIOUSLY HELD OVER GODS CHOSEN PEOPLE

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
(KJV)

The purpose here is to show cause why the 'First Resurrection' is the regeneration (born-again) of the believer and not a resurrection of the body.

The believer today meets all the requirements of the definition.

He is 'blessed and made holy '(II Cor 5;21) because he is a partner in the Resurrection of Christ. This is how we become joint -heirs. The work of the cross ,the blood sacrifice, has no value unless Christ is raised (bodily) from the dead.

Pete refers to the Church as;

1 Pet 2:5
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.(KJV)

John of course concurs; (note the tense)

Rev 1:6
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.(KJV)

This 'priesthood' is entirely populated by those who 'overcome'. As Paul writes;

Rom 8:36-37
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.(KJV)

Conquerors and overcomers are translated from the same original word. Every Christian is expected to be faithful even unto death, so being 'more than conquerors' is the status of all believers in Christ, whether events demonstrated this in life (martyrdom) or not. Every believer is passed from death unto life. And is securely covered under the Blood of Christ. This renders him free from the power of the 'second death' and allows him to' reign in life by one, Jesus Christ'. (Roms 5;17)

Thus each requirement as lineated in v6 is already accomplished in the believer.

It is as important as it is common to refer to the born-again believer as being 'raised up', formerly dead...

Eph 2:5-6
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:(KJV)
Eph 2:1
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;(KJV)

I Jn 3:14
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.(KJV)

The pattern here follows;
Num 19:11-12

11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.(KJV)

With our 'partnership' in the 'First Resurrection', which came on the Third day. We gain newness of life through the righteousness of Christ imputed judicially. This is common to all believers and without it we cannot be seen as 'clean' on the seventh day (last day).

All must participate in the 'third day cleansing' or 'First Resurrection' . Every believer must have a part here. But not every believer will be raised bodily. By the same token every believer must be raised spiritually.

Of course Christ offered up His body as a Sacrifice and needed not be raised in the spiritual sense, as we do. So His Resurrection does not require the second step. Thus for the believer, the First Resurrection is first in order and importance.
