This started several days ago...

I do not know what the ruffles between you, whom I did think of as "Friend", and @Pilgrimshope who is my friend and brother in Christ are about, I pray God heals all of our emotional hurts.

I liked your quit wit and quick quip. You displayed knowledge and application of the word as I believe.

Something is different. You've seemed to turn to more of your opion as opposed to...

There seems to be some participants that you appear to purposely go at. People I also like and consider friend.

I have no beef with anyone on this site or anywhere. I just find it more peaceful to interact with people who aren’t always in contention. Otherwise the person takes up all my prayer time ❣️
 
Long evening, night, and now morning here in my country hideout. Loads of storms passed through with that big system that is still working its way East.

Thank God, there were no terrible storms/tornadic type that caused serious injury or death that I am aware of. Lots of people without power, so I do not know if all the Reports are in yet. Pray all will have come safely through the storms.

I think I got just over 3 inches of rain. It is still raining, but just kinda steady to light. No storms. They are gone. Suppose to rain until about 6AM.

anytime and I do mean anytime, I forgive...but ongoing wrongful behavior needs to be addressed. so I did

nothing is different with me. perhaps you are reading too much into things. pilgrim and I do not agree and he has at times been snarky; not always the cool calm and collected guy he says he is...that's fine though. I have been snarky at times but I don't say I am not

I don't 'go after' anyone. I disagree with what they say and sometimes I do so as much as they disagree with me. that is not going after someone. you can be friends with anyone you want to be. I do not see a relationship between that and whether or not I agree with what they post

this may disappoint you, but I'm not looking for friends here. I have many interests and company, some friends and acquaintances outside of the forum, but since I am home so much (I work from home), I get on the forum. you know, in times past, there were people I was 'friends' with in the forum and every single one of them are no longer here. even wanting to meet outside the forum

I used to exchange pms with people and sometimes that turned into talking about others. on both sides. since the new format of this forum, I decided I will just not get that involved anymore and the pm's are no longer offered as a user as they once were...frankly even though I cannot pm, I can still receive pm's and sure enough...a few were basically talking against other posters here

I know this sort of thing still goes on. it is sadly a part of human nature that God would like us all to stop.

as for my opinions, what you are seeing is actually a disagreement in how a passage is understood. I concentrate on who Jesus is and all that we are in Him. that, is considered building up the body of Christ and by no means encourages sin but is actually more effective in getting believers OUT of sin than speaking about sin and how we should all be working on getting rid of sin

thank you, but I will seek the righteousness of God in Christ and His new life in me, long before I start trying to get rid of my own sin...you know I tried that too and just got worse. I was reminded of my sin all day long and was in despair and thinking I must be going to hell.

anyway, a lot of words...just trying to answer you

thank you very much for writing and saying you are sorry for your behavior towards me. I don't care what the problem is with anyone, I am always willing to talk. sometimes it is a misunderstanding and I think maybe that is what we have here

I am not angry at you...forgive me for anything I did whether or not I meant to hurt or offend you, it seems I did without thinking I was doing so.

please understand I cannot agree with a certain view of Christianity...in fact more than one. some are concentrating on sin and self admonishment, the belief we can be sinless, the misuse of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, name calling and so on

Good news is: All the storms and rain have passed me by, and the sun has been out for a few hours now. :)

BUT..... (you knew there would be a but, right?) But, storms, rain, strong winds, hail and such all return Thursday evening, through Friday morning, and then just rain through the weekend........

SHOOT! Way it's going, I'm actually starting to LONG FOR MONDAY! :) The one day it didn't rain or storm here........ :)

(on a personal note)

Please say a quick prayer for me tomorrow. I have a long day of tests, MRI's, CatScan's, X-rays, blood work and evaluations at the VA Hospital scheduled. It's never fun, but, bless their hearts, all of the Nurses and Technicians I will see are very kind and patient with me (due to my pain) and do whatever they can to make things easier for me.

Appreciate all the prayers............TY, and God bless all of you as well.
