The first Metroid I played was Metroid 2 for the gb and Samus isn't seen without her suit unless you beat the game in 3 hours. I never beat the game as a real young kid until I got older. So I didn't find out Samus was a girl until I was in 6th grade lol. I'm pretty sure I thought the main character was called Metroid and I had no clue who Samus was or that she was returning lol. Yeah I still think Other M has the worst version of Samus. It's a game Metroid fans and Nintendo want to for get as it almost permenately offd the series. If you haven't played it consider yourself lucky lol. Metroid Dread was so awesome though I'm glad she's back.
Metroid Dread was straight nostalgia... until you realize your middle aged reflexes ain't what they were when you were a teen playing the first Metroid.
