Lovely an old 50's or 60"s song redone for Jesus.
Blessing on your quest to share the word through song.

Hai it's me again. Do you know the name of the original song ?
No, don't bother yourself. I just wanted to know whether it was a gospel song from 50's.No, but I thought I'd research the tune without lyrics and see if I could find it.

Yes it does bugs the head when you can't remember the song. Use Shazam or something. No it's a love song. Someone took the tune and added gospel words to it.
I'm looking it up for me......lol
BUGS me when I hear a tune and can't place it.
I love music, all eras and genres!
Hi All, sorry a bit slow, just to help with your questions, when I wrote this song, my state of being was influenced a lot by Maranatha songs in the 80's, specifically the albums from Praise 4 to Praise 9, and also songs of my parents' generation from the 50's and 60's like Richie Valens, the Everly Brothers, the Beatles, etc.
Than you Gerard,
I know it's a 50/60 tune behind it.
I have searched 50/60's tunes ,karaoke listened to a ton of doo wop, which I love.
I love when people incorporate gospel words into sweet tunes.
In " Sister Habit" they used I Will Follow Him and added godly words.
You wouldn't happen to know the original song for that tune,do you?
Hi Gardenias, I'm not aware of any other song as I wrote the tune as well.
Great for you. Google nor siri could find it either.
Beautiful tune.
It does sound sop much like the music I like.
Peace
I can see the closed caption lyrics with the video. Thanks again, I forgot to ask: were you able to see the lyrics in closed caption? One important reason for the video is to have the lyrics shown in sync as the song progresses so that fellow believers will be able to sing along if they are moved by the Spirit to do so.
The other thing I forgot to ask: could you go to the video on YouTube and click the thumbs up (like) icon? Also share a bible verse and/or prayer item in the comment section to encourage other viewers and visitors, especially in the midst of this ongoing pandemic.
