ever notice the revelation of the new when you look at the old ?
the natural
“
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and
darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And
the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And
God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And
God saw the light, that it was good:
and God
divided the light from the darkness.”
Genesis 1:1-4 KJV
and then the revelation of the spiritual comes in
“
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and
the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
… That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
John 1:1-5, 9-10 KJV
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
John 8:12 KJV
first came the natural and then the spirit is revealed
“Howbeit that was
not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual.”
1 Corinthians 15:46 KJV
so you have this creation
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
Genesis 1:1-2 KJV
and this new beginning which came after
“
I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.”
Jeremiah 4:23 KJV
“Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it?
I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called;
I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
Isaiah 48:6-7, 12-13, 16-17 KJV
Leading to
“For,
behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
Isaiah 65:17
