It's to bad my local walmarts are no longer 24 hours.
Holiday stuff marks down @ midnight; however the store closes at midnight now, so you don't get the markdown price until they open again at 6am the next day.
BUT when they were open 24hrs and midnight markdowns it was ALWAYS fun to browse the Valentine isle and watch low life guys come in panicking looking around for something and answer the phone call from the girls.............
"Sorry baby, they kept me late on my shift tonight"
"Ugh yeah, I just got off work"
I knew a lady who worked there that did the store intercoms, so sometimes I would send here a text "DO IT".................
then you'd hear:
ATTENTION WALMART CUSTOMERS! IT IS NOW MIDNIGHT AND VALENTINE ITEMS ARE HALF OFF!"

or sometimes I would pretend to be on my phone LOUDLY "oh yeah, I'm just browsing the half off Valentine stuff at Walmart. IT'S VERY PICKED OVER NOW. NOTHING MUCH LEFT BUT JUNK.

I was in the dollar tree yesterday and it was so hard to see and walk around because all the pink/red balloons and their strings hanging down. You couldn't even see the ceiling. Actually, it was almost sickening how much valentine stuff was EVERYWHERE.
My son wanted to go tonight, so around 5pm I was in there again..............................
looked like the shelves at covid shutdown times: EMPTY
