Where is the Lord`s Own Throne?

We know from God`s word that the Lord has a throne on the earth, in the New Jerusalem and also in the highest realm. The word `throne,` indicates authority. So where is the Lord`s own Throne, His seat of Power and authority?

I believe God`s word tells us that the Father has set His Son on Mount Zion in the angelic realm, the highest heaven.

`I have set my King on my holy hill of Mount Zion.` (Ps. 2: 6)

And we see in that this Mount Zion is in the angelic realm.

`you have come to Mount Zion and to...angels.....God ...to Jesus.` (Heb. 12: 22 - 24)

We are given the details of the Lord`s own throne in the highest heaven.

`Behold, a throne set in heaven and one sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance;...` (Rev. 4: 2 & 3)

This is the throne the Father has SET for His Son. It is for a kingpriest. The throne represents kingship while the stones represent priesthood, for they are the first and last, incorporating all the others, on the High priest`s breastplate.

The jasper stone was for the tribe of Naphtali, (Ex. 28: 20, last stone, Num. 10: 27, last tribe). The meaning is prevailed, (Gen. 30: 8).

The sardius stone was for the tribe of Judah, (Ex. 28: 17, first stone, Num. 10: 14, the first tribe). The meaning is to use the hand, power and authority. It is from this tribe that the kings came.

Here are the two meanings - kingship and prevailing, conqueror.

`Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.` (Rev. 5: 5)

Thus we see that the Father has set His Son on Mount Zion as the highest KingPriest, who prevailed and conquered and thus is worthy to bring judgment.

There is more to discuss however that is a start. What can you contribute?

It’s the throne promosed to David’s line at Gods right hand

“The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭110:1-2, 4‬ ‭

“Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

….: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:29-30, 32-36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭80:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬

your indeed correct he’s sitting here on Gods throne being one with God and having been manifest as the son of man through Christ

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hi Pilgrimshope,

Thank you for replying and giving such good scriptures. Now I need to make a distinction here and you may again like to comment. Let`s start with your verse from Rev. 3: 21.

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭KJV

I believe that the Father`s `throne` authority is far above all the created order. The Lord is also a part of the Godhead there. Then in the Father`s appointed time He will set His Son with the authority and power, (throne) to bring about the judgments. And I see that `throne,` authority and power` executed by the Lord Jesus Christ, in His glorified body, is in the angelic realm.

With the Lord will be His Body, who are also kingpriests. Together they will bring the judgments upon the world system and fallen angels. (1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

Thus I see the Father` `throne` authority above the created order, (where the Son is now) and then in the appointed time He will go to the angelic realm to receive His `own throne` authority and power.

Note the Body of Christ will sit on the Lord`s own throne, but never on the Father`s throne.

can you assert Those things in scripture ? I’d be willing to cknsoder what your saying if you can. I’m really not following what it is your saying but if you were to share some scripture asserting those things it would make good sense to me

what’s The “ angelic realm “ I don’t recall that in scripture are you saying the heavens ? That would make sense because Jesus was taken up to heaven and sits on the throne right now

the image of father and son is the image of one God that was revealed one way in heaven ( father ) and then was born as a man ( son) and simply returned to his own eternal glory in heaven now having provided an intercessor for mankind and high priest the eternal heavenly order of melchezidek

God is one the son was God revealed on earth THe same God we had never seen in heaven , came to earth and became an intercessor and then returned to where he came from his heavenly eternal throne

As a Biblical Flat Earther, I love this topic. I talked about it in my YouTube video "A Biblical Cosmology."

The Bible talks about three heavens. There is the heaven where the birds fly and where the Sun and Moon make their circuit, which is the atmosphere. There is a second heaven, which seems to be a place for the angels. Then there is the third Heaven, where God's throne is, and Paradise.

I do not believe these realms are in different dimensions. I believe they are all in THIS reality and physical space. The tower of Babel account is quite interesting, and makes much more sense if you are a flat earther. That account suggests that it was POSSIBLE for humanity to reach heaven, but God did not PERMIT it.

The Bible talks about actual firmament boundaries which are solid and strong. This is the sea of glass in Revelation which is before God's throne, and upon which the saints will one day stand:

Rev_15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Job_37:18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

God isn't merely the figurative "Most High" in a Biblical cosmology (flat earth understanding). He is LITERALLY the MOST HIGH, morally, in terms of power, and POSITIONALLY.

Every eye will see Him when He one day rolls back the sky like a scroll, because we are on a flat Earth realm, and up is up, down is down, and everyone has a direct line of sight to the sky. Earth is God's footstool.

Peary and Byrd - polar explorers - were Freemasons. Government sponsored Freemasonic explorers, no less. As a flat earth truther, there's no doubt they have lied about some of what lies at the North Pole... or simply have omitted mentioning it to the public. An early map by Mercator shows the Hyperborean land mass around the North Pole:

Note in the center of the Earth on Mercator's map is a mountain. In many ancient cultures, a mountain of black hematite (Mount Meru) was believed to be at the center of the Earth realm. This is fascinating in light of the following Scriptures:

Psa_48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Isa_14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

So Mount Zion is associated with the north, not merely just "north" but "the sides of the north." Meaningless according to modern scientism... but we truthers know that modern scientism is withholding information.

I believe the throne of God is somewhere in the vicinity of the North Star, around which all the others revolve. Jesus is seated at God's right hand, waiting for God to confer all Lordship and dominion upon Him.

Lord haste that day.

Hi Pilgrimshope,

We know that the Godhead, (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) created the heavens and the earth. Thus they are beyond all that. meaning they were before what they created. Or as we see in Isaiah 14: 13, God`s throne is described as `on the farthest sides of the north.`

In Col. 1: 16 we read of the Lord making the different realms - thrones, dominions, principalities and powers..` Paul speaks of the third heaven and that is where the angels reside. (2 Cor. 12: 2, Heb. 12: 22)

Yes, the Godhead pre-existed what they created. But you cannot just infer that this also means heaven is separate from the Creation. For example, the Bible is clear that God is outside of time. He is Alpha, Omega, beginning, end, first, last and He will abolish time according to Revelation:

Rev_10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

God also cannot be bound by space or matter. In fact, "In the beginning (time) God created the heaven (space) and the Earth (matter)." I don't think time, space, or matter pre-existed the Creation.

In Col. 1: 16 we read of the Lord making the different realms - thrones, dominions, principalities and powers..` Paul speaks of the third heaven and that is where the angels reside. (2 Cor. 12: 2, Heb. 12: 22)
So, that first verse in Corinthians specifically talks about the third heaven... but the second does not. It just says heaven. Again, you are inferring something without the verse specifically saying it.

"Realm" does not necessarily mean what we think of in the modern sci-fi conception of alternate inaccessible dimensions. I think that concept has been used to sell the idea that God is very far away in an inaccessible place. The Bible says this is not so:

Act_17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

^ Notice that Paul addressed the above to the UNSAVED people he was preaching to.

God’s throne is in heaven (Isaiah 66:1, Mathew 6:9; Acts 7:49). The hallmark of heaven is holiness and perfection. We know that God is omnipresent. He fills heaven and earth. His presence permeates everything He made.

God is Holy and Perfect. He dwells in Holiness and Perfection. The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom. His environment on earth is characterized by Holiness, Righteousness and Perfection, Grace, Truth, eternal life, Justice, Mercy, Judgment, Love, Faith, Patience, (long suffering), Prudence, discretion, Hope, Temperance, (self-control), Kindness, goodness, Joy, Peace, Happiness, Goodwill, Humility (meekness), Understanding, Knowledge, Wisdom, Power, (strength, might), Counsel, Redemption, Regeneration, Forgiveness, Seal of the Holy Spirit, and other spiritual blessings that flow from God. When we reflect these qualities as our nature, we find ourselves in the environment of God and operate in it notwithstanding that we are on earth. We become of God. Though, we live in the world, we are not of the world but of God. We are no longer born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God (made after the image and likeness of God). We are no longer slaves to the dictates of the flesh.

What we cannot find in this environment are ignorance, unbelief, lies, hatred, envy, greed, or covetousness, arrogance, bulling, corruption, pride, unhappiness, fear, doubt, lasciviousness, slothfulness, witchcraft, sorcery, adultery, fornication, blasphemy, strife, heresy, lust, disobedience, drunkenness, murder, alcoholism, maliciousness, deceit abortion, gossips, idolatry, profanity, hypocrisy, racism, all acts of sensuousness, wickedness, evil, and their resultant effects. These are the elements of the world. It follows that when we indulge in any of these things, we place ourselves outside the environment of God. We live in the flesh and after the flesh and are of the world. We become born of the flesh and therefore are flesh by choice for what is born of the flesh is flesh. Once outside the environment of God, we cease to serve the living God but serve idols instead. We do not need to see graven images physically to evidence this, for the idols live in our uncircumcised heart.

The physical senses play no role in the environment of God for judgment is not by the sight of the eyes or the hearing of the ears but by spiritual insight, revelation or knowledge. The senses look on the things which are seen and judge based on physical appearances while in righteousness the mind focuses on things which are eternal, on the spiritual environment and derives its judgment from revelations or guidance received from that.

The natural man (one who lives after the flesh) works with the physical senses and therefore does not receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him neither does he know and understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The natural man does not operate in the environment of God.
