What countries were you guys born in?I was born in a different country where I grew up too. Like yourself, I love coffee and donuts. Yeah, enjoy the chips too 'cause nobody can eat just one. I am the second oldest of the siblings. There were 6 of us.
I was born in Landstuhl Germany when my dad was in the USAF. He brought my mom over from Detroit. What countries were you guys born in?
We still have in our living room that beautiful calligraphy of the tears that God stores for us in His bottle that you crafted for us. It is truly a work of art.
That's cool. How old were you when you came back to the States?I was born in Landstuhl Germany when my dad was in the USAF. He brought my mom over from Detroit.
I was 9 months old when I left Europe and initially settled in Detroit. I spent most of my childhood living just outside of Detroit. Of course, I remember nothing from my time in Germany. That's cool. How old were you when you came back to the States?
That's like me with Rhode Island. My dad was stationed there when I was a baby, but I feel guilty including it in the list of places I've been since i have no memory of it.I was 9 months old when I left Europe and initially settled in Detroit. My rule is that you have to at least ride through in a car in order to say that you were in a state. I have been to Rhode Island during a trip from Florida to Maine. So far, I have been in 32 states and need 18 to make 50. Of course, I believe that you mention this also, going to Alaska and Hawaii may prove to be problematic. Alaska might be doable as you can drive there. My wife has been to Hawaii. She was going to go on a cruise to Alaska but got married to me instead. That's like me with Rhode Island. I've been to 35, but I gave myself a challenge a few years ago to get my picture on the steps of all the capital buildings. I have 13 of those. My rule is that you have to at least ride through in a car in order to say that you were in a state. I have been to Rhode Island during a trip from Florida to Maine. I'm big on astronomy. We should talk sometime.Hello! I do this type of thread every so often. I used to be Molly and LittleMermaid on here years ago. I logged back on recently and realized I didn't recognize most of the people here anymore. So I thought it would be a good time to have a sharing thread where people post about themselves. It doesn't have to be five things either. Give or take, it's up to you.
