I was born in a different country where I grew up too. Like yourself, I love coffee and donuts. Yeah, enjoy the chips too 'cause nobody can eat just one. I am the second oldest of the siblings. There were 6 of us.
What countries were you guys born in?

That's cool. How old were you when you came back to the States?
I was 9 months old when I left Europe and initially settled in Detroit. I spent most of my childhood living just outside of Detroit. Of course, I remember nothing from my time in Germany.

That's like me with Rhode Island. My dad was stationed there when I was a baby, but I feel guilty including it in the list of places I've been since i have no memory of it.

My rule is that you have to at least ride through in a car in order to say that you were in a state. I have been to Rhode Island during a trip from Florida to Maine. So far, I have been in 32 states and need 18 to make 50. Of course, I believe that you mention this also, going to Alaska and Hawaii may prove to be problematic. Alaska might be doable as you can drive there. My wife has been to Hawaii. She was going to go on a cruise to Alaska but got married to me instead.

I've been to 35, but I gave myself a challenge a few years ago to get my picture on the steps of all the capital buildings. I have 13 of those.

I like that capital idea. Here is my list of those capitals that I know I have been in.
Montgomery, AL
Phoenix, AZ
Denver, CO
Hartford, CT
Atlanta, GA
Indianapolis, IN
Augusta, ME
Boston, MA
Lansing, MI
Oklahoma City, OK
Columbia, SC
Richmond, VA
Charleston, WV

I guess that about covers it. No pictures were taken, however.

I forgot Nashville, TN. I have been there many times in the early 80's when I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. Lived in Clarksville. Nashville about an hour away.

Inquiring minds want to know...... how much use do you get out of a snowmobile in Alabama?

Well, at some rare occasions getting down to a filling station down in Evergreen would be easiest riding a sled, but I got me the sled because I’m currently residing in Scandinavia and we’ve got three feet of snow here. 😁🥶

Hello! I do this type of thread every so often. I used to be Molly and LittleMermaid on here years ago. I logged back on recently and realized I didn't recognize most of the people here anymore.:eek: So I thought it would be a good time to have a sharing thread where people post about themselves. It doesn't have to be five things either. Give or take, it's up to you.

I'm 32
I live in Texas
I like putting together jigsaw puzzles!
I work in a bank but I'm thinking about going back to school for math. I've been getting into astronomy lately and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't scratched the surface though. I wouldn't make that my major, but learning about the universe is a fun hobby. :geek:
My favorite color is navy blue.
I collect Barbies. Mom got me my first one before I was born.

I look forward to hearing from ya'll!
I'm big on astronomy. We should talk sometime.

I love cats and dogs.
I have only driven on and off and I have never owned a car. I would like to own a car one day and drive across the USA.
I have worked at my current job for 10 years.
My favorite meal is probably steak and loaded baked potato.
My favorite fast food is probably Whopper and onion rings. Least favorite is Taco Bell.
Love the diet :D

College. They tried to force us to read a biased and dishonest pro-Islamic book and listen to Muslim chants. Yeah, no.
Dude... good for freakin' you. (y)
