Mmm... not quite. 
I hear some people say Jesus is the "only someone they need" when peeps bring up the 'special someone' topic. One of those responses that's a bit cringy, but you make sure you don't show it out of churchie-respect. I was guessing she might have meant that. But I've never heard anyone say that about Mary... even Catholics.
