I know that you want to be single and seem to be happy with it. But I also believe that if you didn't have the responsibilities that you do that if the right girl came along or if there was a certain female in your mind you have had nice dealings with you just might explore the possibility of a relationship. I get why you are in the mind set you are in and I as getting to be an older person truly respect your responsibility that you have taken on. It is admirable and your family I'm sure and I as that older person thank you for it.
Hmm, I need to clarify this. Again.
I don't WANT to be single. I am CONTENT being single, even HAPPY being single, but I don't desire being single over being married.
If I were married I imagine I would be content and even happy being married too.
I am not going to cross the street to avoid walking next to a lady that I think might be THE ONE for me. I'm not desperately clinging to my singlehood.
However... Neither am I desperately looking for somebody to marry. I'm quite happy as I am and I see no reason to change.
Hope that I am not getting your feathers in a flurry as I am not trying to upset you. My daughter doesn't want to get married either so you both are really on the same page. Just probably being annoying to you as I am to her, but it is only because for her I'm her Mom so I can joke and mess with her. Trying to do the same with you but realize I'm not your Mom so probably just annoys you and truly not trying to do that as I do consider you a friend so I won't mess with you like I do her cause she knows I love her no matter what is going on in my blonde mind...

When I was single everything, I ate was frozen. I would get home from work, stick my hand in the freezer and whatever I grabbed was tossed in a microwave oven.

Ya kidding. Girl you are a gold medal winner of social skills. Like Ginger Rogers able to take what move came your way, all the while doing so looking graceful and doing backwards in heels. So I have to say you got a blue ribbon for the ability to adapt socially and take whatever banter I threw be it oil, winks, smiles, and etc or when I tucked my tail and backed out.
Cause fact be, I became aware it was gonna be this boy who came out at birth with his foot already in his mouth and a sewing kit in his hand. Was just God's way of saying go ahead and sew that foot in there now will save you all the energy of removing it only to place it back there.
So I had to sneak away before my social awkward showed up and I had to taste foot again and officially acknowledge the point you had earned for being a social skills gold medalist when it comes to keeping up and still remaining light hearted, fun, unoffended and not offensive
