Oh my... 
You know, this actually may involve a little interpretation where fulfillment is concerned, because while it is prophesied that He will manifest Himself visibly to church councils in larger cities in the end-times, this dream could be saying He will fully manifest Himself through the church even before that. We are His body, and when we manifest more of His Fulness in the earth, it will be something like a hologram of His image in a way; a facsimile if you will of the Real thing, yet in spiritual form.
Just throwing it out there without having the time yet to really analyze it for more. But the True image of Christ in His character isn't quite as "attractive" as some people think either. When He comes (manifests), He brings judgment, and chastises, and disciplines, and He is not quite the lovey-dovey, all grace and forgiveness kind of guy many think He is. The Real Jesus executes judgments, and He will upturns table and cause all kinds of chaos when He shows up, no matter form.
Whatever the case, that's an excellent dream, and I read somewhere in scripture that it's true; there's a prophecy regarding the Messiah that "his visage was not comely" or something like that. I'd have to find it.

God's grace is always sufficient. All we need do is cling to Him like a frightened child. "Footsteps in the sand" is a well known story about being carried when things are difficult. My prophet friend said that he never wanted to see two sets of footprints. He depended on the Lord all the time!
And yes, I was criticised for standing with my friend. Christians should love truth, but a lot prefer to stick their fingers in their ears. And churches are packed with make believers. They are Christian in name only. But they give and help pay the bills so the status quo is maintained. The real church is much smaller. It's about 4% of those who attend regularly.

All of God's prophets in the Bible, with the exception of Jesus, were human. Being human doesn't excuse making false prophecy. If someone actually hears from God their prophecy will be true, no doubts about it, even if they are human.
So, Black says sometimes he hears "very clearly and accurately" but his human frailty prevents him from imparting accurately what he very clearly and accurately heard! He must think people are pretty stupid.

People better be careful what they amen.
God's the one that calls prophets, and His prophets don't just hit and miss.
People who give out false prophecies need to be rebuked and marked as such. In hopes that they will repent. Also, to protect/shield others who may not have proper discernment.
Going out saying the Lord said something when he did not is a dangerous thing and not to be dismissed and taken lightly.

No Dont have that book in the church library
We mostly have biographies/testimonies, books on christian living, childrens bible stories, books on prayer, missions, devotions, bible archeology, apolegtics
Nobody even reads the theological stuff, so I dont bother putting those books in the collection.
Also we have jigsaw puzzles, so when saw this thread just thought you were a puzzler too.

BUT the most alarming thing, IMO, are the fakirs who think they have a school wherein a person (after paying tuition of course) can learn to be a prophet
where are all these false prophets coming from? why do so many think they have some kind of prophetic gift and are encouraged to 'practice' it?

from what I can understand, these schools operate out of the idea certain scripture in the OT is their clear and encouraged, in fact duty, to raise up prophets who will create a new reality with their words and issue in the Kingdom of God. in fact, God cannot perform without their encouragement and many words of prophecy which will allow Him to 'manifest' whatever they say

The “group of prophets” in 1 Samuel 19 was clearly comprised of students of the prophet Samuel. These students were likely Levites who served in roles related to the tabernacle and ceremonial worship. The content of their “prophesies” is not specified. Their messages could have been general teachings from God’s laws in the Books of Moses, or they could have included additional revelation.
These groups of men were likely leaders among those 7,000 Israelites who had not bowed down to Baal, as God had told Elijah (1 Kings 19:18). There were at least three schools or communities of these prophets and possibly more, consisting of men who were devoted to God and served Him. They followed the teachings of Samuel, Elijah, and Elisha during the time of the prophets and were known as their “students. source

I have traveled for over 20 yrs in Canada and the US in all denominations. Among them are AofG/PAOC, also independent/ charismatic Pentecostal. There are others outside Pentecost churches that believe in speaking in tongues. Many lump all Pentecostal churches together which isn't fair. I've been in hundreds of churches, know many pastors, have family that are pastors in the PAOC.
