It was a last-ditch effort to save Maryland man's life.

Doctors have transplanted the heart from a genetically modified pig into the chest of a man from Maryland in a last-ditch effort to save his life. The first-of-its-kind surgery is being hailed as a major step forward in the decades-long effort to successfully transplant animal organs into humans.

I don't like the sound of this. Genetically modified pig? I think man-animal hybrids are an abomination.

From the link article:
The man, 57-year-old David Bennett from Maryland, has terminal heart disease, but several medical centers had determined that he was ineligible for a human transplant, the statement said.......

The pig-to-human surgery in Maryland was given emergency approval on New Year's Eve by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration through a provision that allows experimental treatments to be used when there is no other option to save a patient's life, the statement said.

Pig heart valves have been successfully transplanted into humans for at least 20 years.

Saw a few days ago that this guy that got the pig heart had stabbed a man in the back in 1988, crippled the guy.
Strange who they pick for these sorts of experiments.

They can keep their feeble attempts at postponing the inevitable to themselves. I'm here for as long as the Lord wants me here and not one day longer!

In one of CS Lewis's books, they used a murderer. I think they were keeping his brain alive for something evil. I'd say fiction is based on truth.

They sacrificed a pig in the center of God's temple.

I wonder if the guy now considers eating bacon to be cannibalistic. “I just don’t have the heart for it anymore”. 😜

What I am considering is that the whole type of the Antichrist setting himself up in the Temple and sacrificing a pig can be seen in three levels. It is spiritual, soulish and physical. In each case it kicks off 3 1/2 years of tribulation. This pig heart in a man was stage 1, stage 2 will be requiring the mark of the beast, stage 3 will be with the temple in Jerusalem.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Proverbs 4:23

I once read a story about this, where a little girl had a heart transplant, started having nightmares. Turns out the heart she received was from a murderer. Sounds like something from a scifi or horror movie, but it was a true story in the book Deadly Emotions-Understand the mind-body-spirit connection that can heal or destroy you- by Don Colbert.

I wonder if the man with the pig heart is going to start rolling in dirt and sticking his nose into the ground.

The whole 'antichrist sacrificing a pig on the altar' was done and dusted about 2200 years ago. Antiochus IV 'been there, done that'.

Major warning to us. We are living in a multiverse

Uh huh. And this is known... how, exactly?
Jesus said God is the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He is not the god of the dead but of the living. So they are clearly living in another universe -- hence multiverse. it is a standard doctrine that the dead are in Hades and there is a heaven. Again, multiverse.
