I think you are misunderstanding me somewhere, or maybe you are more of a cultural Christian yourself and our values are simply not aligned.

I don't think I put this explicitly in my opening post, but maybe I should have. I believe that premarital sex is fornication. If someone says they are a Christian but they're okay with premarital sex in a dating relationship, they're not the one for me. And I will not date a nonbeliever, period. So yes, this disqualifies 99%+ women EVEN ON A SITE LIKE CHRISTIAN MINGLE.

Lord willing my first kiss will occur right after I vow my wedding vows. If this makes me arrogant or superior in your eyes, so be it. I don't answer to you.
You do realize you come across like the guy the Christian extremist stereotype is based on, don't you? Most of us can totally agree on the no sex outside of marriage thing and those of us who have tried dating have found how difficult it can be to find someone who's likeminded on that. But that's not the part that Lynx was considering arrogant.

Rather it's your whole I already know the truth and what I believe is Biblical and true no matter that the majority of the world is convinced that these are crackpot theories. And you take them to such an extreme. So in answer to your extreme beliefs (which many of us consider extremely ridiculous):

The Bible is God's Word. King James Version, since I know where the 900+ corrupt English language versions come from.
Man if only you went with the Wycliffe version. Everyone knows that the King James was far too influenced by politics to be considered a real Bible. The Wycliffe version is the only true version of the Bible (which is of course in English the best language ever even if it's not the language Jesus, the disciples, or any of the early church fathers who were hammering out the theology for early christianity spoke).

The Earth is flat. See Edward Hendrie's book "The Greatest Lie on Earth."
Also the longest standing lie since even the ancient greeks figured that the earth was round and made a pretty good estimate (or at least close to what all those modern scientitsts say is correct) of the size based off of shadow lengths and a little trigonometry. And it's really hard for me to believe the earth is flat since I've flown around it twice. Perpetuating a round earth lie in the age of our global connectedness would just be more trouble than it's worth.

The 2020 election was stolen. See TGP's 2020 election/AZ audit coverage.
Who or what is TGP? What about the other 49 states? And then there's that whole popular vote vs electoral college thing people like to argue about in every close election. Speaking of which, what about the 2000 election? I mean that one went on for a month legitimately debating the counts for Florida and all the chads hanging out.

The vax is poison. See suppressed Tel Aviv University vaccine study.
So one rejected study (what do the pros say about why it was rejected) is proof but all the other data available is incorrect / irrelevant? Wasn't there something about science needed to be repeatable in that whole scientific method thing? Isn't that why they do studies in the first place? Also if poison was the intent it's either super slow acting or else a not very poisonous poison at all, just look at all the people who took it and are doing fine, which in no way negates those who took it and suddenly developed medical issues that their doctors can't explain; there's just a wide gap between designed to do intentional harm and collateral damage.

I am 100% serious about all the above; feel free to ask me questions, but understand that I know what I know and if you are not okay with that we will likely not be very compatible.
Why do I get the feeling that this is an invitation to ask you questions for more information, but not questions that challenge your existing conclusions? I've really got just one; how do you determine which sources of information are trustworthy and telling you something true and which are spinning facts harder than an industrial heavy duty washing machine?

I will not date a divorcee as per Jesus' words in Luke 16:18 and other Scriptures.
Which I've always found an odd interpretation of Jesus interpretation of the part of God's law that allowed divorce since that's like literally what divorce was for, to let someone go back into the dating pool and date and marry someone else.

I am conflicted about having kids right now. Part of me wants a big family and I have a list of baby names in my Bible. Part of me understands that Mystery Babylon is about to fall and a normal life may not be possible going forward. This world is being prepared to worship Satan and it's getting worse, perhaps not the best place to raise a child right now.
Interesting because I can think of a Bible verse about remaining single because of the present crisis but I can't think of one about trying not to have children (I'm not sure I can think of anything negative the Bible says about having children) because of your circumstances. But then again the option to have such control over children or not in a marriage is less than 100 years old. So is this a Biblical attitude or a modern attitude? Wouldn't all those reasons also make it maybe not the best time or place to get married now either?

I have had some chronic health issues and understand physical struggles; that being said I am naturally fit/athletic and I try to take care of myself; I hope you do too. A certain level of physical attraction is necessary in a marriage.
So if we put all this together, are you really saying you're looking for an inexperienced virgin Christian hottie who shares all of your rather fringe even in the Chrsitian community beliefs? All I can say to that is I admire your faith in miracles.

I am looking for someone that I can connect with spiritually and intellectually, who embodies the Proverbs 31 woman and is blessed with discernment, grace, kindness, and humility. This description is intended to filter out ladies who won't be a good match.
Now what aspects of the Prov 31 woman is she supposed to embody: great sewing skills, providing scarlet clothing, planting vineyards, ability to judge and buy fields? And yes I think you've created a great filter, any woman with an ounce of discernment will stay away. Hopefully that's enough questions for you. Bottom line is if you're going to come out of the gate with such extreme fringe views that the majority of the population either knows are wrong or thinks yeah some things look suspicious but there are much simpler explanations or insufficient evidence to say such an extreme view is the only possible truth, then people are going to think you're crazy and not want to get involved with you.

But since we're on the topic of missing things, you may have missed that this is a place to hang out and chat. This is NOT a site to find a date.
Yes, so you keep saying, thank you and duly noted. Church is also not primarily a site to find a date but it often naturally works out that way. I am simply hoping to find some like minded people here.

Truther circles are interesting and there are some Christians in that mix, but they are certainly in the minority as is the case anywhere.

I am now taking bets on how much of cinder's post JStates will actually reply to.

Personally I'm betting on 3%, at 5 to 7 odds. (Percentage measured by the word count in cinder's post that deals with the topics JStates replies to.)

Guess I'm going to hell because I believe the earth is round and because I don't think the KJB, as superb as it is, is the ONLY true Word of God.

Seriously though, Jesus died for me and I am His. That's what matters.
I just read in another thread that the earth is actually concave. And I thought a flat earth was problematic, but this takes the cake. Probably a sheet cake. Flat. I like the round ones.

Thank you for your very detailed and entertaining post. Yes, I'm aware that the majority of the world thinks these are crackpot theories (and you seemingly would be in that category). But not everyone does, and that's the sort of "not everyone" I'm interested in finding. It's okay. You don't have to agree with me on everything... or even anything. You don't answer to me. But then, I don't answer to you either.

I get the impression that I rubbed you the wrong way and that you either sincerely disagree with pretty much everything I believe or you were picking at it for the sake of sheer snarkiness. Either way, I don't think there's much point to my making a detailed point by point response, so I leave it at this:

"So if we put all this together, are you really saying you're looking for an inexperienced virgin Christian hottie who shares all of your rather fringe even in the Chrsitian community beliefs? All I can say to that is I admire your faith in miracles."

^ Yup, I'll take one of those please.

That's a fun thread. Absolutely bonkers, but fun. I'm an indie game programmer; I've actually been thinking about doing a hollow/concave Earth/Agartha themed game.

I know hundreds of Christians. Only a few of them believe the Earth is flat. Only a few of them use the KJV only. You're reading into my post what simply isn't there and taking imagined offense.

Well, Welcome to CC. Glad you’re a fellow Christian. It's good that you're seeking a sole mate; if you were seeking multiple mates, it might raise a few eyebrows. Either that, or your best bet is to look in a shoe store.
But... But... at a shoe store they all come in pairs! You hedonistic heretic! :p

I'm looking forward to @JohnDB replying to this post.

I'm wondering what he's going to say about whether or not his wife meets your idea of the Proverbs 31 woman. :)
I'm going to think about it and then answer...
I'm trying to figure out how to teach the unteachable at this point.

He got his feelings hurt the first time I responded. He acts like he is 20-something. You know...when a kid turns 13 he thinks he knows everything but when he's 21& beyond he is sure of it....

Takes a few decades before he finally figures out others are actually smarter and kinder about it than he ever gave them credit for...

So... like I said. I'm going to think about it.

In the meantime the reality of the situation is one he really wouldn't believe. I'm sure you remember where my wife works...she just got turned in for another massive promotion and raise. She is going to end up running the place before too much longer. The board keeps running into her name and has positive things to say. That ain't small.
Something about how her department is the only one in compliance for the past two years but mainly because of her efforts.
And I just love her to pieces.
Dunno what I'd do without her. She is my best friend and confidant.

And btw...we both got pork pie hats...we go out together looking like twin's breaking bad. (Except I got the beard)

The flat earth threads are high entertainment venues for sure. :)
Most people who claim to believe that are just trying to get a rise out of people...they are flame baiting.

People aren't that stupid in reality.

I dunno... If the only people I knew were from church I'd say you're right about people.

But thinking about the people I know on the job, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. There are a few in almost every crowd that would be that stupid.

Of course the percentage goes up in some venues. It would be very high at, for example, a Burning Man convention. :p

Hi, I'm J~. They think I'm crazy over on Christian Mingle, so here we are. :D I'm 34.

~

Jesus is Lord. Salvation by grace through faith alone.

The Bible is God's Word. King James Version, since I know where the 900+ corrupt English language versions come from.

The Earth is flat. See Edward Hendrie's book "The Greatest Lie on Earth."

The 2020 election was stolen. See TGP's 2020 election/AZ audit coverage.

The vax is poison. See suppressed Tel Aviv University vaccine study.

I am 100% serious about all the above; feel free to ask me questions, but understand that I know what I know and if you are not okay with that we will likely not be very compatible.

I will not date a divorcee as per Jesus' words in Luke 16:18 and other Scriptures.

I am here on CC hoping to find a godly wife. Ideally I would like to find someone who understands the nature of this world and the spiritual warfare all around us which encompasses nearly every aspect of our comfortable American lives. I am a serious sort of fellow who has dated very little and who has never even kissed a girl. Not perfect, but not promiscuous and trying to remain pure for marriage.

I believe God should be worshiped in spirit and in truth; as such I prefer old-fashioned churches which preach from God's Word and which use traditional hymns and music in their services. Typically this means Baptist and Bible churches.

Currently my church attendance is not good/regular but I have a church I would like to attend regularly once I relocate. Currently I watch services there online.

I currently live in central MD but have a house being built for me in Tennessee. I intend to move, Lord willing, by the end of the year. I have had some chronic health issues and understand physical struggles; that being said I am naturally fit/athletic and I try to take care of myself; I hope you do too. A certain level of physical attraction is necessary in a marriage.

I am looking for someone that I can connect with spiritually and intellectually, who embodies the Proverbs 31 woman and is blessed with discernment, grace, kindness, and humility. This description is intended to filter out ladies who won't be a good match.

LOL...............Bro I have always got a kick out of and enjoyed, why bother knocking when I can kick the door down personalities.....LOL So believe I am gonna get a kick outta reading ya :) If that is your bio on the Christian dating site I would tweak it so there was more truth in advertising. Instead of it saying something like man seeking wife have it read, man seeking sparing partner, free for all battle royale, ladders, tables, and chairs included. When we tire ourselves out we will tie the knot..........LOL Welcome aboard my friend :)

This is the conclusion that I have come to...
