Hi, I'm J~. They think I'm crazy over on Christian Mingle, so here we are. :D I'm 34.

~

Jesus is Lord. Salvation by grace through faith alone.

The Bible is God's Word. King James Version, since I know where the 900+ corrupt English language versions come from.

The Earth is flat. See Edward Hendrie's book "The Greatest Lie on Earth."

The 2020 election was stolen. See TGP's 2020 election/AZ audit coverage.

The vax is poison. See suppressed Tel Aviv University vaccine study.

I am 100% serious about all the above; feel free to ask me questions, but understand that I know what I know and if you are not okay with that we will likely not be very compatible.

I will not date a divorcee as per Jesus' words in Luke 16:18 and other Scriptures.

I am here on CC hoping to find a godly wife. Ideally I would like to find someone who understands the nature of this world and the spiritual warfare all around us which encompasses nearly every aspect of our comfortable American lives. I am a serious sort of fellow who has dated very little and who has never even kissed a girl. Not perfect, but not promiscuous and trying to remain pure for marriage.

I am conflicted about having kids right now. Part of me wants a big family and I have a list of baby names in my Bible. Part of me understands that Mystery Babylon is about to fall and a normal life may not be possible going forward. This world is being prepared to worship Satan and it's getting worse, perhaps not the best place to raise a child right now.

I believe God should be worshiped in spirit and in truth; as such I prefer old-fashioned churches which preach from God's Word and which use traditional hymns and music in their services. Typically this means Baptist and Bible churches.

Currently my church attendance is not good/regular but I have a church I would like to attend regularly once I relocate. Currently I watch services there online.

I currently live in central MD but have a house being built for me in Tennessee. I intend to move, Lord willing, by the end of the year. I have had some chronic health issues and understand physical struggles; that being said I am naturally fit/athletic and I try to take care of myself; I hope you do too. A certain level of physical attraction is necessary in a marriage.

I am looking for someone that I can connect with spiritually and intellectually, who embodies the Proverbs 31 woman and is blessed with discernment, grace, kindness, and humility. This description is intended to filter out ladies who won't be a good match.

1. Howdy and welcome to the forum.

2. I have NEVER seen anybody come here looking for a spouse and successfully find one. I have seen a few people here pair off, but they have ALWAYS been people who came to hang out and chat. Conclusion: If you want to find a spouse here, hang out and chat instead of pushing a relationship.

3. As this is a place to hang out and chat, not a dating site, there are some married people here too. We would lose some good sources of wisdom if we kicked them out. Be aware that you need to make sure somebody is single before you start thinking about a relationship with her.

I feel sure you may forgive me if I say as a Brit - you are headed for the right State. I believe you'll fit in perfectly when your house is built.

Good luck!
You are going to NEED it.

Because you somehow have missed the object of the exercise in what it means to have a spouse and why you can obtain one.

What's in it for a spouse of yours?

Conditional love?
Agree or else?

Then there's the misapplication of Proverbs 31. That chapter is a description of the Bride of Christ...any single woman attempting to be all of that would die from exhaustion trying but still failing.

Your ideal spouse looks great on paper but as someone who reads blueprints and laughs at engineers who created them...I'm amused at your laundry list of "must haves".

There's this whole notion of personhood I think that you are missing. A spouse is a whole person... someone who has their own goals and dreams and purposes and ways of doing things. Somebody who likely expects assistance with their goals. (Other than just to raise children, housekeeping, and support you emotionally)
Most women have professional careers of some sort they wish to pursue outside of service industry or low skill jobs. Are you willing to support them to the detriment of your career and house you are building?

Tennessee is the place to be. 3 -5 inches of snow forecasted for the area I reside in NE area.
Currently here in Nashville we are having a snowpocalypse...a real Snowmageddon.

So everything is shut down... even construction. (They got in a half day)

I think that I'll take a nap.

You responded and made the point so much better and nicer than I would have (and still might). To think that a future spouse has the right to be their own person and not just an accessory to our lives, what a crazy concept.

Well, Welcome to CC. Glad you’re a fellow Christian. It's good that you're seeking a sole mate; if you were seeking multiple mates, it might raise a few eyebrows. Either that, or your best bet is to look in a shoe store.

I think that I will take a nap too. I had to drive in town (Jamestown) about a mile away and the roads were an absolute mess. Main roads were slushy and the side roads were not plowed at all.

The world has never been the best place to raise a child since Adam and Eve.

First off, welcome to CC, and may the force with you. lol

You know, maybe there is someone on here in the singles forum, that would be interested in you. There is countless threads about relationships, and why ladies can't find someone. Well ladies, here is your chance to end this nightmare you call being single. lol I hope the LORD leads you, but must say, you do know that 50% of marriages end in divorce?

Do the people in Christian Mingle think your crazy, due to your flat earth beliefs by chance? That would be my guess. You might want to keep that bit of information concealed, until maybe later on in a relationship, that my steer probably 90% of the female population away.

Heheh, thanks for the feedback. You missed the very last line of my post: "This description is intended to filter out ladies who won't be a good match." You see, Christian Mingle sadly isn't any different than any other "swipe right, get laid" app or website. Anyone who loosely identifies as Christian, including culturally because they have no other faith, are welcome to set up an account on CM. Literally 99%+ of women over there I would never consider dating. And it's not because they aren't gorgeous, talented, intelligent, personable, or nice.

I have a thought also about the Proverbs 31 woman. Your interpretation may have some validity, but I doubt people pre-Christ took it the same way you do. In fact, you can easily see that many Biblical women exemplify the virtues laid out in that passage. Ruth. Mary. In fact, I know MANY women who exemplify Proverbs 31 exceedingly well (not perfectly, of course). My mother, whose favorite passage it is, is probably the most virtuous woman I know. My sister. I have several aunts and numerous cousins who fit as well. I am, admittedly, in a unique situation in that MOST of my mom's side of the family are serious, committed, born again, Bible believing Christians. The Proverbs 31 woman is not an unattainable standard. I KNOW WOMEN LIKE THIS. Look at verse 10: "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." It doesn't say she doesn't exist. It says she is RARE. I'm sorry you don't know women like this.

:) Yes, I suspect you assessment is mostly correct. But there ARE Flat Earther women. I actually met one over on Christian Mingle and we were right in the middle of a very involved conversation (full of truther goodness) when she must have triggered some censored keyword or topic. I woke up one day to see that she had sent me three messages in a row, whose content had all been deleted, and her account was completely gone.

But my thought is this. There are lots of leftist women who simply won't date a fellow who voted for Trump. Polls have been done on this. But I DID vote for Trump. No point hiding it and wasting time investing in a relationship only to be rejected for some stupid reason later.

My thought is the same here. I AM a Flat Earther and I'm not going back. No point hiding it, investing in a relationship, and then getting dumped because of my beliefs. I need a woman who either is open minded about it, or a Biblical Flat Earther herself.

I don't think there is one lady on CC, that believes in flat earth...Pretty sure on that, not 100% sure. The singles forum is more of a fun, play games, giggle, and smile. You might find someone there to discuss flat earth with you in the Conspiracy Forum, I just ask that you scroll through the many threads, and continue with those. I"m not a moderator or anything, just asking as a favor. lol

There are to many flat earth threads already!! Personally think flat-earth is non-sense, but I don't want to discuss it any more. You might find my concave earth theory in there. If you can completely destroy the concave earth theory, than I would appreciate that (in the conspiracy forums). Would love the challenge, it would help me to prove it, and understand it more.

Well, best of luck in finding Mrs. Flatearther!

Your arrogance is incredible, almost breathtaking.

I could tell you why those women thought you are nuts, but you wouldn't believe me. (It's not because of the flat-earth thing, at least not entirely.)

If you ever do find a woman, I feel sorry for her.

I think you are misunderstanding me somewhere, or maybe you are more of a cultural Christian yourself and our values are simply not aligned.

I don't think I put this explicitly in my opening post, but maybe I should have. I believe that premarital sex is fornication. If someone says they are a Christian but they're okay with premarital sex in a dating relationship, they're not the one for me. And I will not date a nonbeliever, period. So yes, this disqualifies 99%+ women EVEN ON A SITE LIKE CHRISTIAN MINGLE.

Lord willing my first kiss will occur right after I vow my wedding vows. If this makes me arrogant or superior in your eyes, so be it. I don't answer to you.

That's not what I was talking about. I've never kissed a girl either.

But since we're on the topic of missing things, you may have missed that this is a place to hang out and chat. This is NOT a site to find a date.

Guess I'm going to hell because I believe the earth is round and because I don't think the KJB, as superb as it is, is the ONLY true Word of God.

Seriously though, Jesus died for me and I am His. That's what matters.
