I saw Hacksaw Ridge a few years ago and toured the Kellogg plant in Battle Creek, Michigan 50 years ago. They were passing out complementary cereal snack packs at the end of the tour.
Advent Health is the largest hospital system in the state of Florida. My wife was treated at one of their Orlando, Florida facilities with a life-threatening condition. My late second wife was treated numerous times in the metro Orlando area by Florida Hospital which was the name before Advent Health. The services rendered at each SDA facility was always superb by the competent caring staff.
The Sabbath, whether it is observed or not is on Saturday.
I was born and raised a Catholic but have attended many Sabbaths SDA services. I don't agree with everything they teach either, but they are absolutely a biblically Christian church accomplishing God's work.
I agree with your estimation that SDA is probably the most underrated Protestant church.
James says faith without works is dead faith, and those who think themselves spiritually alive but refuse to keep the law are actually deader'n a witness about to testify against the Clintons.... very much the subject in hand beginning with the Spirit is getting saved ending with the flesh is the going on part. Since we are not saved by the law of Moses we should not try to live the spiritual life by it either.
Really? Where in Scripture does it say that?Since the Christian Sabbath is the Lord's Day -- the first day of the week -- that day perfectly meets the requirement to keep the Sabbath. In fact, it goes beyond, when rightly observed.
Christ made the first day of the week holy and special by rising from the dead on that day, and becoming "the first fruits of them that slept". So the Feast of First Fruits was fulfilled by Christ on "the morrow after the Sabbath". Thus this day became "the Lord's Day" (Rev 1:10)....you and I can't keep holy something that God never made holy, right or wrong?
Nowhere in scripture does it state that Sunday is made holy and is the Christian Sabbath.Really? Where in Scripture does it say that?
Isaiah says the Sabbath is "My holy day", but no where is Sunday made holy, and you and I can't keep holy something that God never made holy, right or wrong?
Wheaties now has a warning on the boxWeetbix is whole-grain so maybe the SDA perfer gluten-free, at least in a physical sense. Regarding the gluten in wheat, maybe that's a spiritual no-no in the baking of bread, leaven or otherwise. I have never seen Weetbix on the grocery shelves here in the states. Maybe it's like Wheaties. It is my understanding that Wheaties is the 'Breakfast of Champions'. I believe that cereal is whole-grain too which may be problematic in regards to dietary constraints.
Bruce Jenner turned out to be a chump and not a champ.Wheaties now has a warning on the box
" look what wheaties did to bruce"
As with every investment.....use caution.
I don't understand why the animosity of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, I think it has a lot to do with standing for the truth. If you do this, then you will be persecuted historically. How many churches have service on the Sabbath, what day did Jesus goto Temple on?
Okay, so I assume by truth you mean Sabbath keeping. Adventist.org is the official website of SDA. If you doubt me, go there. Click the Menu link and you'll see the following: "Adventist.org is the official website of the Seventh-day Adventist church."
Adventist.org has a document explaining SDA beliefs about Sabbath keeping. It can be found here: Scroll down to No. 6, "Sabbath and the Authority of God’s Word." It states the following:
"The Sabbath as a sign of the Creator points to His ownership and authority. Meaningful Sabbath observance, therefore, indicates the acceptance of God as Creator and Owner and acknowledges His authority over all creation, including oneself. Sabbath observance is based on the authority of God’s Word. There is no other logical reason for it.Human beings have the freedom to enter into a relationship with the Creator of the universe as with a personal friend."
Now, let me ask you: In your reading of the scriptures, is Sabbath keeping the way we enter into a personal relationship with the Creator? Notice also the part in bold in the first paragraph. The logical conclusion is that if you don't keep the Sabbath you're denying the Creator. I'd like to know on what authority in God's word they base these beliefs. The answer is simple: their authority isn't God's word but Ellen G. White.
So SDAs stand for the truth? That's laughable. Read all of No. 6 in the link above and see if you can spot all the other lies.

You failed to answer my question, so why should I answer any of yours. If you don't keep the Sabbath, I can see how it's offensive to you.
The Fulfillment of the Law
17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
19 So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

The Ten Commandments tells the world to "Remember the Sabbath day", because God knew many would forget. As far as I know, heaven and earth have not passed away, so with that said.....

Sorry, but you're adding to Scripture! The RCC plainly says in their online "Rome's Challenge to Protestants" that the authority commanding Sunday-keeping is theirs alone, not Biblical.Christ made the first day of the week holy and special by rising from the dead on that day, and becoming "the first fruits of them that slept". So the Feast of First Fruits was fulfilled by Christ on "the morrow after the Sabbath". Thus this day became "the Lord's Day" (Rev 1:10).
Do you have a link to share that proves your first paragraph? Like I said, I have been to the Seventh Day Adventist Church for a few years, and never heard it explained that way.

Show me where Christ or the Apostles stated the Law was required for the Gentiles to follow?
Every Scripture you have used pertains to the ancient Jews, not to the Gentiles.
Why don't you keep the Sabbath, if you don't?
I have livestock, will my animals feed themselves and water themselves on the Sabbath?
If they require medications for some kind of pain or health issue, should they suffer because of the Sabbath?
Even Christ would rescue an animal in distress on the Sabbath.
Jesus had to obey the law, so he couldn't rise from the dead on the Sabbath, since that is a day of rest. Jesus fulfilled Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits when HE first came about 2,000 years ago. Jesus died on Passover, buried on Feast of Unleavened Bread, rose up from the dead on Firstfruits, and the Holy Spirit came down on Pentecost, where the Bible talks of speaking in tongues.
It's funny how Sunday keepers cling to Firstfruits for there excuse for the new Sabbath, but hardly ever mention the Vatican changing the Sabbath day to Sunday, or ever hear of them keeping Passover, Unleavened Bread, or Firstfruits. I hear a lot about Easter though, which has bunny rabbits, chocolates, and Catholic origins......Catholic origins just like the Sunday Sabbath.
Does that verse indicate in any shape or form that, "the Lord's Day" is Sunday? Hardly, if so please explain.

In Exodus 20, verse 10 it states, "but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God". So, according to Exodus, the seventh day is the Lord's day.
