You know, I was reflecting earlier today upon my old life . . . when I lived in the world; taking part in the world. Strip clubs, bars . . . typical worldly places. I have never, NEVER been so psychologically attacked . . . nowhere close to like I am in "christian" forums. It is absolutely pathetic. And "we" wonder why the world hates us. Pft.

Well that's good.......
In the mean time I'm debating with myself if I want to jump in here or not.......
this has gone SO FAR off track from the OP.
Now If I read everything the past few pages correctly and remember correctly (which is questionable seeing as how it's almost 1am and I'm half awake") but it seems to me as if a few words were misread or misunderstood and exploded into a silly squabble
I tell my kids that sometimes the best thing to do to end disagreement (even if you're right) is to just shut your mouth and walk away (of course, then when hubs and I get into disagreements I have to work hard to practice what is preached
) but I have also found that to be true in forums as well; sometimes it's just best not to reply

I don't take "lynn" seriously, though. It's a new account with 28 posts and 13 "red X's" - The Post to Red X ratio is 46%. That is spreading total disharmony . . . so this stuff is just entertainment for me. Got any more of that popcorn? hehe!

First of all I would like to establish something of great concern.
The Jewish people were never punished by God for the crucifixion of Jesus. This thought and teaching is the main cause of anti-semitism.
Fact.
Jesus said..no man takes my life but I lay it down.
The crucifixion was foretold by the prophets. (God already knew) ( Jesus already knew).
Jesus said "forgive them for they know not what their doing".
Jesus mission was to offer up himself as high priest for a sacrifice once and for all.
70 ad was not a punishment nor the ww2 event. They were both a fulfillment and example of prophecy of the scattering before the gathering.
Jesus first mission was to the house of Israel only. If they did not reject him you would not be reading this.
Jews don't become christians.
When our Lord was before piliate the jews cried out let his blood be upon our hands and upon the hands of our children.
This is a oath of traditional teaching.
Jesus said my peace I give you but not as the world gives. Israel has yet to discover their Messiah jesus as a nation therefore they have no peace. Selah.
That's why we are to pray for the peace of Israel. It is a metaphor for Jesus.
Before ww2 the jews were well established in business and learning institutes recognized for their intellect and prosperity.
Hitler drew attention to german economics being controlled by the jews. Causing discord among many german business men along with the poverty stricken nation who were in debt after ww1.
The jews controlled much of the banking and such.
Hitler was not a german but from Austria. Finding opportunity to sway the german country to revolt against the sanctions placed upon Germany after ww1.
Long story to long to post.
But Hitler did accuse the jews in the murdering of Christ which bought the silence of the christians in Germany. In fact when the US and Russia who were allies then enter berlin the German people lied and said they had no idea of the atrocities that took place.
They were then ordered to bury the bodies properly that were found in the gas chambers.

Well, I appreciate and admire you attempt at "bringing it back" but the truth is that I have offered post #6 at least twice, which clears up the issue, but Scripture is rejected. Sure, "they" make it seem like they're rejecting me, but they're not. They're not taking the Word of God seriously. Meh . . .
And why would He? The Lord was simply fulfilling His Eternal Plan, the Plan which our great Apostle Paul expounded upon in Ephesians chapters 2 and 3. Paul tells us that it is God who takes responsibility. All throughout the Old Testament, over and over and over again we find that God takes credit. He places responsibility upon Himself . . . SO THAT he can demonstrate His Raw, Almighty Power. How the church has missed this is mystifying. Why pastors (who have their faces in their Bibles more than anyone else) do not teach this truth . . . again, is mystifying.
Whew. I get so tired of repeating myself like a broken record.

The main reason why so many people died was because the U.S. dilly-dallied and entered WWII late. Likely other nations did not act quick as well also. Had the U.S. entered earlier, many deaths could have been prevented, perhaps even battles like Normandy. Rather, the U.S. was waiting to be attacked first (Pearl Harbor) before attacking. Had the Pearl Harbor attack not occured, who knows how history could have turned out?
Though I have made a few attempts, several actually, I could not have put this into better words. Thank you.
It is written in Revelation, when Jesus Yeshua returns He is going to destroy the destroyers,. It seems those destroyers a= have all com out of hiding, being even blatant. God bless you.
I have been extremely respectful to you as I have not insulted you, nor have I misrepresented anything you have said even though you are now trying to misrepresent my words. I am not “belittling” anyone, man or woman, when I use the term “mere men”. The fact is, ALL men AND women are “mere men” and are not gods, thus they do not deserve reverence, worship, or favoritism. In fact, the only thing any of us deserve is the death that Christ died on the cross for us. I also told you that I am not angry or upset with you, so I’m not sure why you are so emotional and illogical about my disagreement with you?
I will NOT act as a lukewarm Christian or confuse or muddy God’s Word because of a person’s “feelings”. I also believe in free speech, especially on public forums like this. So if you think I was wrong in disagreeing with what you said, and if you think the basis on which I disagreed with you is wrong, why not correct me with scripture instead of belittle, insult, and misrepresent me? You did say you had a bunch of verses to support what you said, right? I honestly thought that is how the conversation would unfold—citing scripture back and forth.
I don’t recall you citing any or telling me why you think I was wrong for disagreeing with you? Instead it seems like you are hyper-focused on the fact that I “disliked” your post, and even mentioned the fact that you never dislike anybody’s posts and that you like to talk to people who don’t dislike things. The only reason I mentioned the “dislike” is because you brought it up (multiple times) and because this began because I disagreed with much of what you said and hit “dislike”….in addition to explaining WHY. (In my experience, people tend to get angry, illogical/emotional, and insult others when they are full of pride, hate, and envy and when scripture IN CONTEXT does not support their belief.)
If you don’t want people to dislike what you say or disagree with you, then why do you post on a public forum for people to speak their minds and share what they think about others thoughts and beliefs? Just because this is a “Christian Forum” does not mean everyone will agree with and “like” what you say. (TBH….I can’t believe I’m having to explain facts of life to a grown person)
I am going to reiterate the fact I have no anger or ill-will towards you, even after you have repeatedly insulted me and tried to misrepresent me. I don’t even know you. I am truly generally confused as to why you are verbally attacking and insulting me when I simply disagreed with you and tried to let you know what I believe the truth to be out of love. I truly want everyone to be saved, and I am on this forum to discuss and learn about God and His Word, not to get emotional/angry/illogical and especially not to insult anyone.
If you are feeling insulted, I’m not sure why because my intent was never to insult you, or to even “correct” you. I simply wanted to share my belief, point blank.
I'm not insulted. I looked at the "reactions" that you offer and you're at a 46% ratio of posts to negative Red X's. I don't take you seriously at all. You obviously have an alternate account, considering how you navigate through this site as effectively as you do. So again, I feel neutral about you in relation to me and my psychology. Now, causing issue with others . . . that's a bit different. Nonetheless, whatever issues you choose to create from here on out . . . God is in control. He doesn't need me for one thing; not one thing at all.

Just because God did not put a quick end to the Holocaust (or WWII) doesn't mean that God approved of these events, as some of the above posts insinuate. All we know is that God allowed this to happen.
Rather, I believe God expects mankind to do the right thing. I know from anecdotes that Americans (from southern Americans) were casually anti-semitic during those times, and we only entered WWII because we were attacked not particularly because we cared about the Jews. Even during those times, the Jews had positions of power in the United States and this was not regarded well. FDR also did not do things he could have done, such as increase Jewish refugee quotas or do some magic with the State department. Because of free will, God will not intervene unless we seek His help. I believe in those times, maybe people were just more apathetic about what was going on in the beginning.
I think the nations had more control than they realize.

Where is the scripture to refute the reason I disagreed with you? Instead you keep insulting, misrepresenting, or saying untrue things about me.
As I said multiple times, God is in complete control, He has so much control that He ALLOWS all of us to have free will. This means each and every one of us are responsible for our own sins, and for the way we speak to and treat other people. God did not force you to verbally attack me, you did that all on your own with your free will. If we did not have free will to sin, we would not need a savior for our sins, would we?

Why do you care about my reactions to posts, or bring it up at all? That has nothing to do with your post and the reason I disagreed with most of it. You’re so concerned about my likes and dislikes that you actually calculated a percentage for “ratio of posts to negative Red X's”. If you “didn’t take me seriously” I’m sure you would not have taken the time to do that. I’m very curious why you have such an obsession with likes, dislikes, and their ratios to posts? (BTW, I have given way more positive reactions than negative, your post just happened to be one of the few on the negative end)
You are also misinformed and misrepresenting me when you insinuate that I “cause issues with others“. I am going to be frank with you, the only one causing issues is you. The only one verbally attacking anyone is you. And the only person that I’ve had an issue with since I’ve joined is you. I‘m convinced the reason you are still insulting and misrepresenting me is because you are trying to get some sort of “rise” or “negative reaction” from me. I think that’s a very sad way to live, and I truly feel sorry for you if this is true.
Its very clear you have some sort of paranoia, and you’re probably thinking that I am somebody else you may have had issues in the past with. Why else would you accuse me of having an alternative account? I’m not that person, and I definitely don’t have the time to have multiple accounts on a site I just joined, let alone “stalk” a person I don’t know and cause them trouble.
You may not take me seriously, but I take you and your eternal salvation seriously. I take EVERYONE’S eternal salvation seriously, which is the reason why I reply to posts, and why I even bothered with this silly conversation with you. ”Likes” and “dislikes” clearly are not meaningless to you, and because of that I am concerned for you. It seems to me that you care for the approval of mere men instead of God’s approval of you being covered by Jesus’ righteousness . I hope that you accept Jesus Christ as Lord as Savior, and I pray that he heals you of these issues you have. We are all broken, but there is nothing he can not heal.

It has taken me a while to be able to put an answer like this into words. I’ve asked this question myself since I first learned about The Holocaust, and have heard many people voice this question over the years.
It’s something that is very hard to answer, something which I’ve thought about, read about, and listened to sermons about over the years to be able to comprehend enough to answer this question, and even though it kinda answers it, I personally feel my answer isn‘t sufficient. It also does not help when there is so much false teaching going on right now.
And I agree, over the years so much Satanic activity has been taking place and those involved are very blatant and “in our faces” about it. The worst part about it is that many people think it’s “innocent” or “artistic”, and dismiss people pointing out the truth as “crazy” or “conspiracy theorists”.
