If you have no earthly idea what he is talking about - then, you are one of the 'bubble' people he referred to...

Christ is the answer, didnt hear any thing in the video that would bring people to that reality. Instead it brings you to your consciousness of mind to yourself. Its saying that self is the answer. Its new age religion.
I know you mean well with this video to awaken people to the mess that is around us right now in the world.

I agree 100% that Christ is the answer. Always has been, always will be.

However, there are some contexts in which I believe that not every form of presentation has to be a biblical sermon or it is of no value.

Instead it brings you to your consciousness of mind to yourself. Its saying that self is the answer. Its new age religion.
I understand the new age perspective.

However, the call for self-awareness and the suggestion that 'we are god, and we have the solution' are two widely different things.

Anything that is truly 'new age religion' is going to have that 'I-am-god/we-are-god' component.

Merely being self-aware in-of-itself is not 'new age'.

If it is being used to "push" the 'new age' concept - well - that is something else...

I know you mean well with this video to awaken people to the mess that is around us right now in the world.
Exactly. That is my only intent - to get people to thinking...

He's describing The Matrix. Maybe Keanu Reeves will be able to save us.

If you listen and do not let yourself be deflected by an abstract idea that is akin to philosophy then what the author says in the end is that going to work, marrying and having children is the deception because that is the exclamation of those who say they are free. A freedom that is philosophically ridiculed in the presentation.

They realize they are not free but haven't figured out how to become free yet.

You'll just have to forgive me because as a British English speaker my linguistic cerebral functions can detect the phonetic cadence of what is said by a British English speaker - and even when the spoken word is dramatised for another effect - that dial cannot be hidden. The equivalence to that, where a spiritual dial is also present, is called discernment. In this case the video is flawed both philosophically, intellectually, linguistically and so given that it utilises a clear philosophical claim amounting to a political or civic meaning - it predicates to another ambition than upholding claims to supposed freedoms. So it doesn't need a judgement amounting to discernment. The video is a misdirection in its own right and it is made for political gain - it has nothing to do with freedom.

The 'I am free' statement - which is said with sarcasm - is simply a part of the "instruction" to be-and-do the status-quo - as directed by the "elite masters" who want everyone to "do what they are told" and be happy doing it.

The deception is not the [actual] "doing" of those things which are a part of everyday life; rather, it is doing them in a context and system that "enslaves" the whole population by reason of the way the 'system' is set up to operate.

The normal life activities are not the deception. Nor is he saying that.

The 'system' is the deception.

And, anyone who cannot 'see' the truth about how the 'system' actually operates is living out their life in a 'construct' that has more control over - and direction of - their life than they realize.

In effect, they are living out a/the life that was "designed" for them to live out rather than living out the life that they should be living out.

And, in this sense, they are nowhere even close to actually being 'free'.

They think they are 'free' - but, they are not.

It is an illusion.

What is being ridiculed in the presentation is this false-freedom illusion.

~

I understand what you are saying.

These things often 'present' on many levels.

Certainly worth considering.

Care to expound a bit more on any of this?

This post or video you thought was worth listening to is crude and illiterate. What it is NOT is unintelligent in a specific meaning that has to do with precepts that are NOT presentations that allude to spiritual meanings pertaining to the Father in heaven - rather to neurophysiological sorcery. To deconstruct the philosophical imperative that underpins the direction of intent as it is perceived almost intuitively by the object audience would require a whole thesis in social psychological precepts just to pin down the sense of disquiet that gives the philosophy of individualism (that is necessary) to allow for the passive acceptance of the premise to gain traction. So I simplified the matter by asserting that the linguistic nuance of spoken inflection is a more easier domain to know what is being stated - despite the theatre of ideas. This is not in the Christian discussions forum so I won't be making spiritual claims here.

some people seem to watch an awful lot of youtube videos on here.

?!
Im sure they are very easy to make with all your cameras and fancy special effects but I personally cannot be bothered.
