If mankind evolved from a bunch of ignorant goat herders to colonizing space in just 6000yrs, and that's taking the flood and the tower of Babble into account..., What makes you think that the earth is BILLIONS of years old?
There's no way to go back in time and validate carbon dating, that's why it's just a theory...

No, anyway you describe it, it still has to be Creation, which means Intelligent Design", the Evolution we know comes with a caveat that it came from some primordial soup by mere chance, which of course is ludicrous. Of course those that claim the Universe is only 6000 years old are just as bad. The Universe was created in 7 YOWMS (time periods) and in the bible the Hebrew Word YOWM is used fir ay, year, month, season etc. etc. you have to take he information and figure out the time period, the Hebrew language only had 4000 words and no vowels, our English currently has a half million words comparatively speaking. What I try to do is get people to think critically.
So, the 2nd ay came after the first and we see the Earth on the 2nd Day so if the earth is 4.5 billion years old and the Universes is 13.7 million years old we have the first day (YOWM.....TIME PERIOD fill in the blank) as being 9.2 billion years in length. And so on and so on. I see the 5th day as being about 300 million years from like 700 million years BC and the 6th day as being 350-400 million years with the Dinos being wiped out 70 million years go by the Yucatan Impact, and then God creating man as in imparting His spirit into a person made from the dirt of the earth, 6000 or so years ago. As per scientists, I don't trust them fully for a few reasons.
1.) We see they will bend the Science for money from DC Politicians.
2.) We always see their "Theories being changed" and you can't call a theory that is later changed Science, because real science is just the journey from the Unknown unto the Known and you can't get there with a wrong answer, unless you change the answer. I will illustrate a problem with so called science. In the 1800s the mocked Christians who stated the Universe had a definite beginning, they stated almost to a man that the Universe was Eternal. Then in the 1950s two scientists heard a PING coming from the Big Bang, and they proved the universe had a definite beginning. So, those same "TYPES" now just shifted their thinking, and they created a really dumb hypothesis that man just appeared from a primordial soup bowl, LOL, per chance, which is really impossibly if you d the math. Its like 23 trillion to one. So, these same supposed intellectual types come up with bull crap Multi Verse theories that can never be tested to say, BUT............No buts, you don't propose stupid illogical theories that cant be tested to make up excuses for your inability to escape a preposterous position via its improbabilities by extrapolating there could be billions of universes, that just goofy.
And, as log as Scientists are involved in Cosmology and Climate Change lies, then its relevant as pertaining unto whether they have become overtly politicized by the left, as everything else has been corrupted by them, so it most definitely fits he criteria of are the trustworthy. I don't trust them one iota as pertaining to what we are told, Fauci is a liar right now, that stuff is mostly propaganda. If they knew an Asteroid would hit us in 2029, do you think they would say so or lie? I put my money on lying.
So, however God decided to Create the life on earth, it is still CREATION by an Intelligent Designer. And that 6th Day stopped when God paced Hos imparted Spirit into man, and God rested from His creation process.

But Adam was not the first human. After the fall of Adam and Eve, Eve became the mother all living (humans) so the fall was required by God and was an essential part of His plan to make man in His image.
The creation week is still on-going, 1 day being 1000 years to God.
Jesus said God has not rested (John 5:17) so the Sabbath is yet to come and will be the millennial reign after the second coming.
We can all share in that rest with Him if we follow Jesus now.

You shall have them for food. 30And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day........
It's more likely that WE are still in our infancy... despite our ingenuity and intellect.

Look again at Genesis 1:26 - 27 in a modern translation.
26 is God stating His intent to make man(kind) in His image.
27 is in a poetic form and I think that is a prophesy of what will be. No matter how I look at it I can't see how we can be in the image of God yet. We have the power or right the be Sons of God if we follow Jesus.
This is why I think John 5:17 is such an amazing verse.

I worship the Creator, not Creationism. As evolution requires no creator, I figured you worshipped Evolutionism. Although I guess the theory did have a creator, and plenty of high priests - Dawkins, Darwin and the like.
Anyway, when you invent a better eye, then you'll be in a position to critique God. Until then, I'd suggest you don't conflate the evidence of design with the ignorant opinion that you (or someone else) can design better than God.

A simple thought experiment for those who believe the Earth is of the order of 5,000 years old and who do not believe in evolution:
If the story of Adam and Eve is literally true, then when only Adam and Eve existed there could have been a maximum of 4 different human eye colours.
This would be the case if the 4 human eyes (Adam had two, Eve had two) were all different colours.
However, there are now more than 25 human eye colours.
Many people who do not believe in evolution hold this position because they reason that a living thing could not possibly have some feature that its ancestors did not have - e.g. how could a sea creature evolve into a bird over millions of years...
If you take this position, how do you explain the development of human eye colours, as described above?

Peter predicted in the last days that people would deny the Creation, the Flood, and the Second Coming of Jesus.
The reason is since people don't want to be subject to a future Judgment of God, they must deny that any previous Judgment of God took place -- the Flood -- and by this permit themselves to deny the existence of God -- our Creator -- altogether, and replace everything with naturalistic evolution. If you aren't a Creationist after having been shown the truth, you aren't a Christian.
