could very well be I’m assuming China is the muscle controlled by the powers that will come one will lead but ten kingdoms will serve

countries like Iran , Iraq , Syria , ect are definately involved but there is also the powerful nation who ruled the world before revelation and rises again after revelation
there’s a lot at work in the beast a total of eighteen kingdoms / reigns are mentioned with only 11 working together concurrently and seven bekng successive beginning with Babylon and king nebucadnezzar
I definately feel as if rome is involved somehow but much of the world
Will Be involved also and I can’t see the world bekng converted to Catholicism since Christianity is in steady decline and Islam is readily and rapidly growing I believe Islam will also be involved possibly like your saying maybe cstholicism and Islam will try to unite as one religion or something
it’s really hard to say for sure what’s coming but we have scriptire to guide us as we look into the future in the words of the gospel and prophets
That’s what prophecy is God telling us beforehand what is coming
For instance 700 years before Christ came and we have the gospel of his existence in the flesh
“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,
in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
…
he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged,
till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Thus saith God the Lord,
he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and
give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

The prophets were foretelling of Jesus birth , his miraculous power , his teachings and judgements ( the gospel )
And the gospel is those things we were told of in the prophets coming to pass
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 7:14 KJV
and then The gospel is the fulfillment
“And
she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Matthew 1:21-23 KJV
I’m just saying prophecy tells us the story before it happens so we can learn from prophecy about the future
