Christians use the name 'Allah in Arabic, which is believed to be related to Hebrew 'Eloah, of which 'Elohim is a plural. The evidence seems to point to the idea that 'Allah was the preIslamic word for God.

In Hebrew, 'el', 'eloah', and 'elohim' could refer to other entities besides the God of Israel also.

Allah is absolutely not the same GOD as mentionnd in the old and new testament. Go to a good library and research the ''origins of Allah '' there is a lot of misinformation on the internet unfortunately. HINT: The moon crescent on muslim flags has to do with the name of their god.

The word allah means God.

Its not the same God as the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, that is for sure.

But if I am not mistaken, if you pick up an arabic bible, the word God is written as "allah"? So I think its just a generic name for God in arabic and can mean the one true God the Father of Jesus, or the many manmade false gods like allah krishna vishnu etc.

My understanding is the historical philological/Semitic Linguistics field considers the word to be related to the Biblical term Elohim. I believe Arabic Christians use the term Allah as do Maltese and Indonesian speakers.

Forgive me .. this should be easy. Believers in IRAN IRAQ places like that who know Yeshua as lord will say ALLAH. Now Muslims that say the God of.. ALLAH of Abraham... its not the same GOD...Allah of Abraham Issac and Jacob. We need to remember they are not Jewish.. ALLAH was all they knew. Trust me.. GOD knows exactly who they are calling out to. Be it JESUS or Yeshua ;)

Quran...some versions say "GOD" others say Allah. Allah means God.. ask them. Just the ALLAH Muslims believe in ..is not the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob.

The whole reason i responded to this is that the OP was surprised that a Christian would recognize that "allah" means "God/the God"- and it shouldn't be all that surprising. "allah" is not exclusively the word for the god of the Koran or Islam, as much as some people want to think of it that way- and using "allah" does not necessarily make someone a Muslim or globalist unitarian that wants to conflate/unite the worlds religions.
It seems a lot more prudent to simply say Mohammed was a false prophet and the Koran is false scripture if you need to speak against Islam. I never hear anyone say "Jehova is NOT God!!" just because Jehova's witnesses use "Jehova".

Maybe it's ok to call the Christian God Allah in some countries because it does just mean God.. but you do it the West..like I said and you are talking muslims and Islam

it’s tricky because Islam accepts the Torah of Moses, but not the gospel.

Muhammad is thoer “ Christ like figure “ not the son but “allahs “ the false gods highest prophet who will return

Years ago we had a Saved Arab come and speak the truth about Islam. He warned us of Islam and quoted the Koran where it is commanded to kill Jews & Christians who do not 'repent' and turn to 'allah'.
This was a man who was born and raised in SA as a Muslim and knew the Koran by heart.
The teachings of Muhammad/Koran is to first infiltrate by making friends until your numbers(offspring) build to sufficient amount and then you go on Jihad to 'cleanse' the land and restore it unto allah.

This 'friends' movement has been going on now for years in the USA and will soon explode.

If that's an accusation it's a false one. I didn't "seek to blend" anything, and Idk where you're getting that from.
 
Allah was one God amoung many.
Allah is a demon like all the other Muslim gods.

Now it is just Allah and his prophet mohammed.

Is what is screamed when chopping off heads or a suicide bomber blows up jews and christians.

It translates " allah is greater" (than the christian and jewish God)
