What is not speculation is Adam was not deceived. He knew what he was doing. The woman being deceived was in the transgression. The only way for Adam to be with his wife was to choose to sin. Jesus became sin for us who knew no sin. What the first Adam could not do, the second Adam accomplished. The first Adam could not redeem his wife. But he loved her and wanted to be with her. That’s why he chose to eat and fall.

Glad you agree this is what I been saying.
The woman being deceived was in the transgression.
She sinned just as Adam. Both sinned, one out of deception while the other knowingly.
This is just my opinion but choosing to din versus being tricked or decieved sounds worse.
But he loved her and wanted to be with her. That’s why he chose to eat and fall.
your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
I do not see love being the motive but instead to gain knowledge and be like God.
Same mentality at the Tower of Babel. Mankind has this obsession to be the God of their life or to rule over others in a God like status. History has shown this time and time again.
