I will intensify your labor pains;
you will bear children with painful effort.
Your desire will be for your husband,
yet he will rule over you.
If this was Eve's curse... Then what was Adam and Eve's relationship BEFORE?
God cursed the serpent and the ground. The word “curse” is not used in reference to the woman or the man.

Really?! Even in context? Then, what would you call it...?
And what's your answer to my obvious question?

All of you stand tall and preach/teach the women they can not have authority over men, or hold positions of leadership in the church because the Apostle said so. You are all happy to build your theology around that Scripture, yet NONE of you do any preaching/teaching of the rest of Scriptures the Apostle wrote concerning women. In so doing, you are all cowards and unworthy of claiming to be the spiritual heads of the church/home IMO.
What are you talking about? Where is this hatred coming from? I've actually never been in a church where this was preached at all. And btw, in my class, I teach the whole counsel of God. Please lay off the accusations. Thank you.

interesting. the whole counsel you say? I don't think so and your posts do not agree with that statement

I've read your posts in this thread, and others when the KJ topic comes up, and I would understand from those posts, that women should not speak in church

you disagree with any scripture that shows women were included in the services in the NT, so no surprise someone has the impression that you are against women as described in scripture

you prefer the word servant to describe their activities even though it has been shown multiple times this is not the correct translation

you might stop with the virtue signaling. it's somewhat obnoxious at this point

I suppose a more pertinent question would be... Did God hold Adam accountable for Eve? Is that what "woman" truly means?
No, He did not. There is nothing in Scripture to suggest that. The woman was created--and "named"--in Genesis 2, prior to the fall.

All I can say is this.

God will use anyone or anything to get His message across. The gospel is to be preached to every nation, tongue, people in the world. God will use men, women, children, angels, and even open the mouth of a donkey to get His message communicated to his desired audience.

In many churches where are the men? Women have to take on responsibility sometimes to keep some churches going. God had women He used and they are written about in the Bible. Deborah a judge, Rahab protector of spies, can't remember the ladies name who put a tent peg into a man's head, Ruth a gentile who followed her mother-in-law back home and in Jesus's linage.

As men and women we both have the same important role to spread the gospel in or out of the church.

Barak didn't want to step up, so God Himself sent Sisera to Jael. ;)

So, you have never been in a Church where they preach/teach that women can not have authority over men? Seriously? Now, if you have, then you have been in a Church where the writings of the Apostle concerning women are taught. You can not cherry pick which of hs writings you want to believe/enforce and ignore the others. If one of them is a Commandment from God, then all of them are.

Hatred has nothing to do with it. Sorrow is more accurate. The sorrow I feel for what you and Church Leaders who believe as you are doing to the women in your Congregations. Even worse, you allow young girls to attend Sunday School Classes, which is against one of the Apostles teachings. The young girls are to learn from their mothers at home, not in the Church.

You guys do not have a clue of what you are doing. Or, you do not care about what you are doing, as long as you can keep women in their place.

Accusations? I accuse you of nothing more than speaking the truth of what Church Leaders like you and those who believe as you are doing. If it is truth, it isn't accusation.

Address the questions in the OP. WHY do you not teach/enforce ALL of what the Apostle wrote concerning women? WHY only the "authority over" part?

Do you understand that you are placing women in your Congregation (according to your teachings/beliefs) in a position of disobedience to God? Do you care?

To this day Arabian attitudes about women are based in strange antiquated tradition, very much like the strange and antiquated traditions of the Pharisees 2000yrs ago...

All I know for certain is that those "traditions" may have been useful and necessary thousands of years ago in the tribal Mid East, but probably not so much today.

In marriage A man and woman are one flesh, but God holds the man accountable for his household.

Beyond that, I see no reason why any woman should refuse God's call to serve His will.

According to you. But NOT according to God.
outside of a church setting we can preach. We can preach on the streets. In the workplace. In the home to our children. To our friends . To those we do our hobbies with. It is in the church that preaching by women to men was not allowed

women are not to rule over men in church and in the home. Outside of those there is no biblical prohibition.

And if husbands and wives truly behaved as "one flesh" there wouldn't be an issue to begin with...
