All adults here need to calm down. No one here should be mad and or angry at other people views.. This is complete utter nonsense and I'm embarrassed to even read this mess.
I would say besides your comment and the OP's comments, everyone elses have been calm, cool & collected. You should actually be embarrassed by some of your own comments. All the one's I have read have been real stinkers.... Yes I said stinkers!! :poop:

Good debates can be very productive. When it divulges into a belittling contest, there is no usefulness.

"Illegal immigrants" are law-breakers and should be either (a) jailed or (b) deported post haste. Are you free to break the laws of the land? No.
So, you would have been a good little Nazi citizen, turning in your neighbors if they were hiding Jews, wouldn't you have? After all, they were breaking the law of the land, and turning them in to the nazis for immediate extermination would be following the law of the land.

Scripture is clear: if the law of the land violates the laws of God, then not only are we "free" to break them, we are REQUIRED to do so.

I apologize. Anger is definitely one of my issues.

This isn't the first time HillsboroMom has tried to stir up trouble. She made her point, she wanted to take a swipe at Trump supporters, so she did. End of.

That's a sick comment and you know it.

There were borders in the Bible and they were respected.

True enough, I do think she exposed herself. She won't speak to me, the people she's actually judging. She just comes in to blast people, judge them, then play the victim saying she has a temper. smh Unreal.

You've got it backwards. It was the Nazis who were lawless and the Jews who were the law-abiding LEGAL CITIZENS. So there is absolutely no comparison.

As to reporting migrant invaders, it is the job of Homeland Security to SECURE the Homeland and SECURE the borders, so that migrant invaders do not get in. And if they do they are immediately deported. But like every other branch of the government DHS has failed America and sided with the criminal cartels.

You like being confrontational huh? Do you really believe the asinine rhetoric you throw out there or is this more about getting attention?

Scripture tells us that if a man has two coats, he must give one to the man who has no coats.

Scripture tells us that it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.

Scripture tells us that God will give good things to the poor, and the rich he will send away empty.

Scripture commands us to care for the needy. Scripture says that those who do not will be sent to the lake of fire. That punishment is not reserved for anyone else, not even homosexuals or abortionists. Yes, those who do not care for the poor are worse than perverts and atheists.

Neither the prophets nor Jesus ever say, "Well, why are you poor? You should just pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. You're only poor because of your own poor choices. If you made better choices you would be rich, and wealth is a sign of being blessed."

Such thinking is completely antithetical to the message repeated, over and over again, throughout both Old and New Testament. Yet I hear these exact words from the mouths of many people who claim to be Christians.

Many Christians (not all ... but many, even on these very boards) are quick to condemn the gays, and the scientists, and the worldly, but there are thousands more verses about the way poor people are treated, verses against the misuse of wealth.... and don't even get me started on immigrants.... Yet too many Christians ignore these, and partake in the very behaviors denounced in Scripture. How is it okay to be haughty but not okay to be gay? Are both not equally evil in God's sight?

Or do you only condemn things that you're not guilty of yourself? After all, it's easy to condemn homosexuality, because you think it's gross, and you would never be tempted to do that yourself. But wealth? Well, that's harder to condemn, because you like having money, and you don't want to condemn that, because that means you can't seek money.

But this makes you a servant not of God, but of Mammon.

Choose this day whom you shall serve.

As for me and my house, we shall serve JHWH
Too many Christians have been deceived into thinking that if they reject the sins of the left, they must embrace the sins of the right. And so they are being drawn away from God's truth - a large part of which, like you so well pointed out, is of compassion for the sick and poor. The alarming part is that those deceiving the faithful claim to have come in God's Name.

Wow. If only we had been warned that false prophets would come using His Name to deceive the faithful and draw them away from the Truth.

Leviticus tells us that we are not to show partiality to either the poor or to the mighty. In righteousness we are to judge our neighbors.

I also seem to recall a certain one of Jesus' disciples who feigned concern for the poor. In his particular case, it was because he was a thief and he stole from the money bag.

JTB, your posts are spot on. I wish there were more like you in the world.

I don't understand why so many so-called Christians don't get it.

And why just because I disagree with them, now I must be a left-winger.

I believe that a lot of people here don't realize how wrong they are. And they need to be reminded that GOD'S LAW always supersedes the law of the land.

And yes, I feel called to afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted, just like the prophets of old.

If you think Scripture is "asinine rhetoric," that is your right to believe such. I will support your right, in this land of religious freedom, to believe that. But I won't apologize for believing that you are wrong.

I don't care one way or another about getting attention for myself. I'm more interested in getting attention for the Truth. If just one person reads what I've written and it brings them to Jesus, then it's worth it.

I'm not embarrassed about my views, because that's what this chat is about. Embarrassing is coming to Christian chat arguing about other people views. If you can't be civil in a chat room explain how can You be civil in real life. Thanks for sharing your opinion on my views, but I don't come here and pin point which chatter I want to debate with, I just chat, I don't pay attention to the names unlike you dear. God bless

So comparing people to Nazis is bringing them to true. Interesting. 🤔

True, we are told to speak the truth in love,

This is just on this thread

Post #55 she has reminded us of how wrong we are

Post #43 she calls someone “a good little Nazi”

Post #34 she isn’t condemning anyone, simply quoting scripture

Post #24 she excuses her anger, not her fault, it is righteous indignation because “I do get angry when people flaunt their fake Christianity, pretending to be Christian while hating Jesus”

Post #23 she refuses to apologize and again justifies herself saying she gets “upset when people spit in the world of God”

Please, please, please get the Covid Shot

She responded to PennEd challenging her assertion that she knew “dozens” of people who died from Covid — “A Christian who calls someone a liar. Need I say more? I’m guessing you’re white. I’m also guessing you know very few people who are not white. You might have one or two “friends” who aren’t white. But I bet if I asked them, they wouldn’t consider themselves more than “casual acquaintances”.

"I'm guessing you're white"

Tells me all I need to know.

Proverbs has something to say about contentious & angry women and about angry & furious men...............
