Those goats are big talkers with NO ACTION! They "say." If they TRULY had prophesied and cast out demons and done all those mighty works in the Name of Jesus - Jesus would know them.

They just SAY they did and DON'T. I know Daniel Adams is the real deal. I was just at his service in Fredricksburg, TX. Sure enough, I got hit with Holy Spirit Laughter way in the very back! LOL!:ROFL::love:(y)

You quote a lot of scripture but, you haven't said anything about how wonderful Jesus is and how incredible His LOVE is....do you know Him?
So, I'm sorry--are you saying he is the 'real deal' because you were 'hit with Holy Spirit laughter'? You also say you believe Krick is genuine--a self-proclaimed apostle who casts demons out of BELIEVERS? Ay Ya Yai!

There's a good video on Y.T. called, "The Root And Fruit Of Pride" and it's by Floyd McClung.

Lafftur, you say Holy Laughter is not a gift of the Spirit. Understood. But you say here 'God chooses to cause'. If this is true, then for it to manifest in 'believers' it would of necessity be by means of the Holy Spirit. However, I can't find that anywhere in Scripture.

Instead I see the Holy Spirit:

1. Teaching
2. Guiding
3. Convicting
4. Encouraging
5. Revealing truth
6. Sanctifying
7. Interceding
I am NOT calling it Holy Laughter. I am calling it Holy Spirit Laughter because it IS from God.

Slow down a bit when you read a post and don't be so quick to judge....seek to understand correctly FIRST.(y)

Like I said, no one's forcing you to take it. Peace.
Yes, I know Oblio--however, the whole point of this forum is to share what we believe about 'Holy Spirit Laughter'--and I believe it is a 'doctrine of demons'--one of Satan's best used tools in the church is to appear as 'an angel of light'. Yours and Lafftur' notion that because it feels good it must be okay, reminds me of the expression, "If it feels good, do it."

So i left out Spirit--it is understood by the topic and what i've posted previously. But how do you respond to the question I posed?

You know, you're putting words in our mouths...you're basically saying that we said something that we didn't say...you should really stop, calm down, and think about what you're doing.

Testing the spirits and speaking out against demonic activity in the church is not pride.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world ..--1st John 4:1

I believe it is demonic--I have seen videos of this behavior (included one below). I can't believe that anyone who is a Christian would participate in this--it is not joyful -- it is like watching people in an insane asylum--it's chaotic, disturbing; this hysterical laughter is not found anywhere in scripture. We must "test all things" to see whether they are of God. Where did you see Jesus or the apostles or the believers laughing uncontrollably? There are many false teachers and believers in our churches today. Can you imagine someone coming as a visitor to a church and witnessing this? "Wouldn't they say you are out of your mind?"

"But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.-"-1st Corinthians 14:40

What is Holy Laughter

..."The most convincing scriptural argument against what is called "holy laughter" is found in Galatians 5:22-23. It says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." If self-control is a fruit of the Spirit of God, how can uncontrollable laughter also be a fruit of His Spirit? Revival leaders claim that being filled with the Spirit means that we are sort of "tossed about" by His whims. But the idea that God would make people act drunk or laugh uncontrollably or make animal noises as a result of the Spirit’s anointing is directly opposed to the way the Spirit acts, according to Galatians 5:22-23. The Spirit described in Galatians 5 is one who promotes self-control within us, not the opposite. Finally, there was no one in the Bible more filled with the Holy Spirit than Jesus, and not once does the Bible ever record Him laughing....

Other manifestions (holy laughter similar to Indian Cult) http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/laugh1.htm

Yet another interesting factor is that Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh was called the "divine drunkard" by his followers.(32) Hundreds of people flew to India to "drink" from Rajneesh's "wine."(33) "Often referred to as being 'drunk on the divine,' Rajneesh encouraged his followers to come and 'drink' from him. Bhagvhan's (sic) spiritual 'wine' was often passed along with a single touch to the head. Many of his Sannyasins [disciples] would fall to the floor in ecstasy after their encounters with Rajneesh."(34) (Does this sound strangely familiar?! Something is wrong with the church when it starts to experience the same phenomena as the occultists.)

I agree some people have ZERO understanding of the indwelling Holy Spirit!
The Spirit can NOT be taught nor controlled and God is NOT the author of confusion!

Laura, you're just seeking to be RIGHT....you're NOT seeking TRUTH. Your little box of religion is not going to sustain you through all the storms of this life. You'll need a really good laugh at some point. God knows this and wants to refresh you. Let Him.

Don't let that judgmental critical spirit mess with you...that "religious legalistic" one that is stiff-necked and resists the Holy Spirit.

Just stay humbled and childlike and ask the Father for a refreshing from His Holy Spirit. He loves you.

I don't think so--we are either out of work (me) or retirees, avoiding other responsibilities (me too)...or LURKERS.

Testing the spirits is not judgmental--I am on fire for God and the TRUTH of His word--my job as a Christian is not so much to be happy as to be holy. "Be Holy as I am Holy."

"My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins."--James 5:19-20

PS Odd to say a person who stands on God's Word is being legalistic--legalists are like the Pharisees- adding rules and regulations to God's Word.
