Some believers deep down are not at all satisfied with this 50/50 walk of the American Dream Life and going to church and having a a half-filled relationship with Jesus.
They open their Bibles and see the power of God .
how God operating power ,as part of his testimony .
even in Egypt when God hardened Pharaoh's heart over and over and over, God declared to Moses that the world may know my power.
All those Wonders that God did , God said in his own testimony that it was to show the world his power. I think of the Great Commission ....go go go in power and heal the sick cast out demons raise the Dead and preach the gospel.
The gospel was never meant to be preached in a dry sterile dynamic.
No sir, not only did Jesus preach it in power, but he told his disciples" don't even think of doing a single thing, no Ministry no testifying no preaching no going out, in fact, do nothing until you receive the power". It is like Jesus is saying," there is a starting place, and if you try to start somewhere else, my gospel will be powerless and a half gospel".

Send more oil!!!!!!

when has the gospel been preached in power?
Have you seen it?
Have you seen the dead raised? Have you seen lepers cleansed? Have you seen blind eyes opened?
Have you seen creative miracles of some veteran getting his limbs restored?
Are you satisfied with a mental gospel a couple of verses that you get somebody to repeat and thank God they do get salvation. But then what? Are they birthed into a non-power Jesus Club? What if they actually open their Bible and see the disenfranchisement of the church? And they Wonder where do I fit? And they look around and they see there's no fivefold Ministry.
And they see the pastor has no desire to help them understand their own place and office in the Kingdom.
Will a hunger rise up?
Or will they join millions of other disenfranchised believers in some powerless non biblical church club?

Fat and satisfied with no power.

Hunger vs fat and satisfied

First off, the reason the five wise virgins did not share their oil was not because they did not want to, but because they couldn't. If the oil was supposed to be God's Holy Spirit, then imparting the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands does not cause the giver to lose any of their Holy Spirit. That means the the oil is not symbolic of the Holy Spirit.

Secondly, the five wise virgins did not share their "oil" because it isn't something that can be shared. How can someone share their righteous living, their repentance, their forgiveness from God, God's mercy, or their faith with others? They cannot share oil because it isn't something that is tangibly shareable.

If the oil was something that could be shared, then the five wise would have done so because this is a teaching from Jesus.

Jesus said, in Matthew 7:24 "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock"

So hearing Jesus' sayings and doing them is what constitutes a wise person. If the five wise virgins are wise then they would have done Jesus' sayings and known that "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) and to "Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away." (Matt. 5:42)

Conclusively, the oil is not something that can be shared. The oil is something that comes from God alone.

The five foolish virgins should have simply stood their ground and waited for the bridegroom. Though embarrassed at not having oil in their lamps, that wouldn't have been a reason to be barred from a wedding that was open to the general public. The five foolish would have likely received a stern talking to, but would have otherwise been forgiven and given more oil when they repented of that error to God. It's that simple.

They were not let into the wedding jut because they were not watching and waiting when they should have been.

The parable of the ten virgins is about ultimately being prepared for the return of Christ.

I understand they are Christians in name, thus they are called Virgins, but they are not full of the Holy Spirt, (Oil) meaning they have run off the Holy Spirot by clinging to sin over God. The reason they are still called Virgins is they were washed in the blood, and they have not died yet. Many people who come to Christ, turn away from him, and thus when they die they are bound for hellfire. I do not get why people think once saved always saved, it is not scriptural, there is no such thing, we are saved when we die if we die in Christ just because people confess Jesus doesn't mean he is Lord of their lives. Even Jesus told us that many people will say, Lord, Lord, did I not do this and that in your name, and Jesus said I will tell them DEPART from me for I never knew you.

A lot of people are going to be surprised, you don't confess Jesus, and then say, well I will now advocate for Abortion or homosexuality, or I will hang out at bars, etc., etc. If the Holy Spirit is not living in your heart when you die, that means you are ot of God, you have RUN HIM OFF. God can not abide sin, any WILFUL SIN will run God off. If you continually lust in your heart Jesus said you have committed adultery already.

The 10 Brides represent ALL Christendom, not all in Christ, the Church will be Judged FIRST. If you announce you are a believer, but ten live for Satan in this evil world, then you were a Bride, but you AINT MARRYING Jesus in Heaven. Likewise, if a Jewish man had a bride and she got herself pregnant by another man, he would be justified in turning her away, and not marrying her. Joseph would have turned Mary away if not for the Angel telling him the child was God's child.

We are the Bride, but we are just betrothed at this point, we will be Christ's Bride only when we get to Heaven. Israel is God's Bride, but He divorced them, He will eventually accept them back again, but only 1/3 will repent. All Israelites will not make it unto Heaven, even though Israel was God's Bride.
You do not become the Bride of Christ in Heaven - false 'pre-trib' doctrine of demons.

Not in the parable.

The parable does not need changing.

"""Conclusively, the oil is not something that can be shared. The oil is something that comes from God alone"""
That statement is a departure from the story.

In the story the reason is given for the refusal of oil.
"...no, lest we not have enough for ourselves"

IOW..."we have to have lamps full of oil, if we give you part of it..we will all have less than full"

" lest we no have enough" proves that under different circumstances they WOULD HAVE.
Totally disproves the notion that it could not have normally been shared.

In fact it appears the Holy Spirit ,in writing the parable ,has certain ingredients that block off the insertion of " anything but" the oil representing the Holy Spirit.
Consider this;

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

What " went out of Jesus?"

You claim nothing ever goes out, correct?

I didn't change the parable. If you would have read the post, followers of Jesus are supposed to give to others when they're asked. The five wise virgins didn't give what was asked of them because they couldn't give it. The oil is not something that can be given away.

The oil being Holy Spirit in this parable has been debunked at this point. The longer I look at this parable, the more reasons I find.

Consider this;

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

"You claim nothing ever goes out, correct?"

No. That is incorrect. What I said is " imparting the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands does not cause the giver to lose any of their Holy Spirit."

It isn't found in scripture that people lose their indwelling Holy Spirit. The apostles could impart the Holy Spirit via the laying on of hands and not lose their Holy Spirit. The 5 wise virgins did not attempt to share any of their oil because they couldn't.

I honestly think you need to work on your foundation of scriptural knowledge. It's necessary to have these kind of deep conversations. You don't seem to be understanding anything I am saying.

Jesus framed the Christian walk in the same Dynamic the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
So Jesus saying " virtue went out of me" is obviously the power of the Holy Spirit.

What do you think you are accomplishing with your attacks on knowledge that I have of the word.

You can not reconcile something like ;
"lest we not have enough" in the changes you made in the parable.
You did not see it i guess.
Is that the fundamental dynamics you refer to?

Making " we will not have enough for ourselves"
Into
" that is impossible, nobody could, or ever has done such a thing. It is forbidden"
Is that kinda what you refer to in educating yourself in foundations?

Your method is to belittle.

Just debate without the baggage.

I got a handle on what i promote here.
I am committed to the bible and what it says.
I do not need changes to the parable

The power of the Holy Spirit went out of Jesus, but a percentage of the Holy Spirit didn't leave Jesus. That's not what you originally asserted. In the parable of the ten virgins, if the oil is the Holy Spirit then you're saying the Holy Spirit can decrease and that just doesn't make sense.

Agree that God does not diminish by giving of Himself, or even humbling Himself.

Infinity - infinity is still equal to infinity
For example the natural numbers {1,2,3,4,5...} are infinite. Even if I take away every odd number - an infinite amount - I still have every even number, also infinite.

If you feel like you have been attacked for being encouraged to study the Word of God more then that's unfortunate. Most Christians take that as an encouragement, but I guess I am not dealing with most Christians here. Those looking to be offended will find a way be offended.

Maybe consider this in your theory that it was an impossible dynamic, rather than a timing issue;

Mat 25 ;9 nasb
9 However, the prudent ones answered, ‘No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’

Clearly they normally would have.
Beyond obvious.
