I'd appreciate prayer. I have endured a number of spiritual attacks and am currently dealing with one. I'm dealing with corrupt people who are not in the same camp as I am. I'm also dealing with someone close to me who can't 'see' things and always capitulates.

Also prayer for family members still in darkness. Thank you.

"Let us pray to understand, we will always be confronted with the adversary of
many faces and many places, and let us
pray to accept things we can't change.
I
pray you, as well as myself, and others...stay the course, and rest in the Lord.
We must
pray to learn, our strength is not always in 'numbers', but in singleness

of purpose, serving our Lord the best we possibly can, and the best we are spiritually
equipped to do, accordingly.
I pray these words are thoroughly absorbed."
'Amen'
'Praise God'

Praying for you.

Your last sentence about 'seeing' things and capitulating ... That caught my interest. Care to expand on that?

A believer who gives in to evil. I don't know who is right and who is wrong. I am dealing with a situation that requires the wisdom of Solomon and I'm not hearing from God. I know He hears but maybe I am the one who can't hear. I don't know.

If you are not hearing, if you don't know who's right or wrong, how can you discern who believes and who gives in to evil?

Could it be that you are prematurely jumping to conclusions, and that act is stifling your hearing?

It can become quite a vicious circle!

I think I am dull of hearing. I've been listening to sermons on hearing from God but I think I'm missing something somewhere. I think part of the reason is the stress. When your adrenals are overworked it shoots cortisol into the blood and that causes the brain to short-circuit. That's where I'm at. I'm dealing with a very serious situation and there is overt corruption involved. I'm no lawyer but 'thou commands make me wiser than mine enemies' and I know something fishy is going on. I'm just unsure how to proceed. I'm trying to hear from God but not getting anything.

So just what exactly is going on? You speak of a bad situation but so far haven't defined what that situation is.

I was catastrophically injured and the lawyer I hired used deception and my lack of knowledge of the law to gain my assent to a low settlement - the lawyers from the other side actually threatened to sue me if I didn't sign the paperwork agreeing to the low amount.

He's also trying to take what little I may get by adding in all these fees he is not legally allowed to take. I ran it by another lawyer and he told me in no uncertain terms to get a new lawyer. I tried but the lawyer refuses to release my files - he's blatantly breaking the law. I read that no one breaks the law more than lawyers and cops.

I I've had many many battles in my life that God didn't deliver me from but forced me to face. Similar to how he dealt with the Israelites: he made them fight their enemies - but I'm weary, and angry at God - I need a break.

"Let us pray to understand, angry hinders a necessary calmness, causing
undo anguish.
I can relate to the injury and lawyer scenario. It can be very trying, believe it.
I hope and pray you may find adequate legal assistance, and that you become
aware of your personal well being, and strive to use common sense and know that calmness
often opens new doors.
I pray you stay well, and be gentle with Christ our Lord. You will overcome."
'Amen'

Thank you. I'm trying to stay calm. I think the stress from the injury burned out all my neurotransmitters. I'm trying to heal them as well as the physical pain.

I can't fathom individuals who could do that to someone already so damaged. They have hearts of stone.

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been on the run!

In these kinds of actions, the lawyers usually gets paid a percentage of what he wins for you, so it's in his best interest to get you as big an award as he can.

But having said that, I've been in a similar situation. I had a case where my employer had already done an investigation and concluded that I had suffered trauma at the hands of my co workers. The only question at that point was how much is it worth? I sent the report to ten different workplace attorneys, only one responded, telling me to get over it. Meanwhile, another guy going by the nickname "big dog" got fed spaghetti with dog food in the sauce and was handed 3.5 million. You'll never convince me there wasn't something demonic involved in my case influencing the attorneys.
