Do you know where that folly came from?

Niv translation.

That error has lead many people into a lie.

Niv " they came to life" in rev 20.

Leading people into that folly , thinking john witnessed a resurrection of martyrs AFTER ARMAGEDDON.

Nope it is saying they are PART OF.
Not "THE" first resurrection.

Keep reading and it differentiates First and second resurrection.

It all flows together...but some need it twisted.

Help them Lord.
What a mess
Brother it is you who do the twisting for you MUST twist Scripture in order to keep the lie of 'pre-trib' going.....

God will not let you out of your darkness until you repent of "adding to and taking away" from His words.

Your darkness will continue, unless you repent, right up to when you are made to choose between the Mark and death (should you be alive at this soon coming Revelation).

When the LORD says they were beheaded for their witness and "came alive" - you better believe Him
When the LORD says "this is the First Resurrection" - you better believe Him

For if you deny His words and then seek to change them - you will find yourself in great sorrow before Him.

KING JAMES VERSION Revelation 20:4-6

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

So you contend that the first resurrection is after armageddon?

There is no resurrection prior?

Did the LORD give to us in Revelation "Play by Play', details for everyday and moment? - NO, HE did not.

But what HE did tell us is in Perfect Harmony with the Gospels and the Letters of the Apostles.

Matthew 24 - He comes after the Tribulation - Revelation chapters 19 and 20 (these two chapters are one event).
1 John 2:18-19 and 2 Thess 2:1-3 and 1 Timothy 4:1 - "Falling away and man of sin comes first" = Revelation ch 1- 18
1 Thess 1:10 and 3:1-5 and 4:13-18 - Tribulation comes first then the Resurrection at His Coming

Adding to God's words again - Big Falsehood = Big Trouble

You need to read about the Prophet Job
They are not seated in rev20?
The battle of armageddon is not finished?
The ac is not defeated?

All right there for anyone to read.

The pure truth that you call error.

Ovr and over you distort, generalize and reframe.

You make a fool out of yourself and when scripture is brought forth you just recklessly hurlbyou little generalized folly at the word of God.

We can all see " first resurrection"

We can all see the setting.

Nope ....you refuse any association to setting.

That is dishonest big time

Revelation 20:1-6

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is your answer to a question a 10 yr old could answer?

It is not in you ...is it?

To go toe to toe and honestly engage.? Ain't happening.

I can only assume the word of God i am bringing out condemns your conjecture.

Yes we all know Jesus returns postrib.
Nobody disputes it.

What a joke your dodge game is.

Goofy and twisted.

Take notice of my Posts that show the clear teaching of Truth from Scripture - without adding or taking away.

Now compare to your own posts that have no, or little scripture, with a lot of your opinions(adding to and taking away from truth)

i gotta go now - have a Great Day in the Lord and in the Holy Spirit = the Spirit of Truth

You can force fit anything.
Not forcing anything - just taking the text for what it [really actually] says...

Acts 1:

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Aaaaaannnd - I stand corrected!

My apologies...

I answered from memory without going back and giving it a good read.

Hmmm - sometimes memory not work so good...

So then - the angels spoke "as he went up" -- I don't think His feet were in the clouds, yet. ;)

Rev 19
Read the depiction of the second coming.
billions of horses with Jesus on one of them.
The Lord obviously can show up on a horse if He so desires; however, just because there are/were horses in the context of what John saw does not necessarily mean there will definitely be actual physical horses.

Maybe. Maybe not.

I tend to think not.

We shall see...

No one taught a pre-trib rapture until John Darby, and Anglican preacher, in the mid 1800s.
Really?????????:confused: What do you take us for?????? We DO have Bibles and we CAN read. It makes no sense to go up and prepare for a marriage just to find that the Bridegroom has ran downstairs and won't be coming back for 1000 years.

We, the Church, will be seven years with Him in Heaven before we return with Him at His Second Coming to rule and reign with Him on Earth 1000 years. Lets not pretend that Darby was the first man to ever read a Bible.

Revelation
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Please provide the Scripture where, exactly as you say, Christ comes back to "pre-trib" rapture His Elect/Saints BEFORE the Resurrection and then HE comes back a third time for the Resurrection.

Please bring forth the clear Scripture that affirms your 'belief' - if you are unable to do this - what is your option?

PS - i have offered, and still do, $1,000 Reward for the Scripture (Scripture only) that declares a "pre-trib rapture of His Body/His Elect/His Saints Before Resurrection".

Yes we can all read Bibles. What we read in Revelation 19 is that after heaven rejoices the defeat of the prostitute,
the invitation is annnounced from heaven about the returning King's coming wedding on Earth.

In Rev 19 The Bible states:
"The marriage of the Lamb has come"

Pretrib Doctrine states:
Marriage was already perfomed in heaven 7 years previously excluding "tribulation saints" & Israel.

2 different stories. I believe the Bible one.

Please reply to my Post #322 with Scripture to back your "disagreeX" on thread 'THE RAPTURE/END OF DAYS'

It is important for me to know, in case i missed Scripture that would clearly indicate an error - Thank You

I don't want to start another spat. That's why I chose to "silently" disagree.
It was an argument within an argument when some started to discuss eternal punishment.
(there is another thread running on that topic currently)

Well i expect more from you Lucy.
Someone of your background shoudn't leave a REDX if you are unable to leave a clear Scripture Path to examine, so that your Brother or Sister may be able to grow thereby.

Most on here that leave REDX is simply because they are unable/unwilling to accept Scripture for correction/growth/understanding.

Just as i brought forth a clear scripture to be examined for my statement.

If that is what you want, it is your responsiblity to find that post & the one it is related to & place them here.

Don't tell me off for trying to avoid escalating an argument over 3 threads.

Lucy Lucy - where in the world did you ever come up with such aggression..............

"telling you off" - oh my dear Sister - not at all

Please read again: Someone of your background(COMPLIMENT) shoudn't leave a REDX if you are unable to leave a clear Scripture Path to examine, so that your Brother or Sister may be able to grow thereby = Blessing/Compliment

Also i was expecting you to return to that thread - but do not go there now as you are angry and it will not profit us.

You do.
Have you forgotten about the error of 'tribulation saints' who are 'left behind'.

If they are 'left behind', as you have stated, then there is no Resurrection and if there is no Resurrection, then there is no rapture.
