OK, so you are offended by the apostle Paul's scripture?
None of the apostles are my apostle. They are not even alive on earth. And I do not live by anything that any
said other than Jesus. Jesus is the Word. Oh here is a Word for you...and it is SCRIPTURE

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

See that SCRIPTURE right there???

That eliminates Paul from anything to have to do with me.

Let's look at that verse, peachy.

The "anointing" that John is speaking of is the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us that He would go to the Father but would send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, and He would teach us all things.

The Holy Spirit is the author of all scripture, the entire Bible. So when Paul speaks under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit it is God speaking to us the things He wants us to know.

If not for the Holy Spirit speaking through the apostle Paul, not a single one of us would know how to live for God! The Holy Spirit gave only to Paul the written meaning of the New Covenant, and he gave it to us.

I know I have eternal life. Not conditional life

My faith is based on Christ his work and his promise
My hope is based on the fact I have eternal life
again you have nothing to offer me so I will bid you good day. God will break your pride one day I know it. I just pray in this lifetime
If you truly have eternal security, it should be based on the following.

1Jo 2:17, And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1Jo 3:6, Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

I have the teaching of the holy scriptures to offer you, @eternally-gratefull.

You don't like what I have to say but you will believe in it one day. I just pray in this lifetime.

“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus said this to Jews who were all under the law , and as he was preaching the kingdom to them but before he died and fulfilled the law which was the point
All will not be fulfilled until heaven and earth have passed away; according to the scripture in question

my point was that Moses law isn’t Christian doctrine but the gospel of the kingdom is Christian doctrine
Nevertheless, the law is written on the hearts and minds of New Covenant believers (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 john 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10; Romans 5:5; 1 John 2:3-6, 1 Corinthians 9:21).

if you keep reading 1st John 3, you will that John said the Commands we are to keep are " believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and love one another"

so, to believe is to obey . and is the only thing needed to be saved.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

The Law of sin and death. Written and engraven on stones. Which is the ten commandments.

I don't think it gets any clearer than that.
Yes, the law shows us when we violate love and shows people who are not born again that they are not born again because of their lack of love.

The context of 2 Corinthians 3:7 (2 Corinthians 3:3) tells us that in the born again believer, the word is written in fleshy tables of the heart.

For the unbeliever, it is merely on stone tablets because it is external to the unbeliever.

But for the believer under the New Covenant, the law is internalized (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10; Romans 5:5; 1 John 2:3-6, 1 Corinthians 9:21).

Does it eliminate John also?

Jesus substantiated Peter's writings in John 14:26, 16:13. Peter substantiated Paul's writings in 2 Peter 3:15-16. And Paul substantiated the rest of holy scripture in 2 Timothy 3:15-17.

Actually he identifies those two things as a singular commandment.

Then, in 1 John 5:2-3, and in 2 John 1:6, he tells us what it means to love one another....to love God ant to keep His commandments.

What commandments To love one another? Is John attempting to be redundant and to talk in circles?

nope.

John was not referring to the Ten.

he meant what he said. to believe in the Son and love one another is to obey.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

When we confess Christ and are saved we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then God will supply our needs food and clothing.

Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Act 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Those who work righteousness is accepted with God.

So while the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us we have to work righteousness to be accepted with God.

Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

We are servants of righteousness so we actively have to pursue and do righteousness.

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God.

Righteousness to be active in our life has to be an act of doing good.

Some people like to make the excuse the righteousness of Christ is imputed to them and say their lifestyle does not matter too much but righteousness has to be an act to be active in their life.

It is like some people say they do not have to do works for we are saved by faith but charity, love in action, is greater than faith and love can only be done in works for it to be active in our life which James said faith without works is dead, and a person is justified by works and not faith alone.

And John said do not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deeds and in truth.

When we first confess Christ and are saved the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us.

And then we have to work righteousness to have it active in our life for we are now led of the Spirit.

When we have faith and confess Christ we are saved.

And then we have to have works of love to have faith active in our life for we are led of the Spirit now.

But some people do not actively do righteousness and works of love and think they are alright.

Lots of people act in ways consistent with the fruit of the Spirit. Many of them aren't saved at all.

Lots of people act in ways consistent with the fruit of the Spirit. Many of them aren't saved at all.
The difference is that they are not consistent in bearing the fruit of the Spirit.

They may have joy because they took a swig of alcohol...that would not be the fruit of the Spirit....that would be the fruit of spirits.

Those who are saved will consistently bear the fruit of the Spirit and those who are unsaved will consistently work the works of the flesh.

Mat 7:15, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16, Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17, Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18, A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19, Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20, Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

No, He didn't. He said nothing whatsoever about Peter's writings, and Peter had not written his letters at that point.
He spoke of the fact that the Holy Spirit would lead Peter into all truth.
