If a Christian gets vaccinated for the covid Is this a lack of faith?

  • Getting the vaccination means the Christian lacks faith.

My father was 9 years old when war was over. What you want? Look to your country how they treat people with an different skin colour even 100 and 155 years after Civil war. Special in the south and in the name of God.

So Romans 13,1 and 2 is saying what? What is your interpretation?

the vaccine does not play favorites apparently

our neighbors just got the booster... he did not want to get the vaccines, but his wife harped on him until he caved. she also got the flu vac, shingles and some other things. :oops:

we are in a vaccine pandemic if anything

so it is more like what do YOU want? look to your motives in continuing to argue about how bad we all are here

and puleeze....I'm half German myself...so I know better than to present Germany like Miss Goody Two Shoes....you have no clue about the civil war...I did an independent study on the American Civil War in High School and it was not at all about race...not even started about race.

SophieT, my answer was directet to Mr. PennEd. Every Nation had its dark time and crimes. That I wantet remind to Him.
It was not my goal to become political.
 
don't put your faith in the science of man.
Trust in God, and follow Him.
If you are convicted you can get vaccinated but if you are convicted not to be vaccinated you can choose not to be.

But don't do it because the majority is, or because the wisdom of man says so, do what you choose because you have talked to God and researched it yourself.

There is a study from the university of california from 2019, called civil right project.
This study found out that the segregation grows again since the 1990s, mostly in the big City of the north states. And it hits near afroamericans also latinamericans.

This has NOTHING to do with Your country’s history or mine.

You are being deceitful by trying to make it about that.

This is about the principal of applying Romans 13, and total obedience to every government law.
You. and several others, are constantly saying we should ALWAYS obey the government, and their laws and orders, because of Romans 13.

I was pointing out that it is actually sinful to do so, by using the example that it was German law to turn over Jews to be slaughtered, and not hide them keeping them from harm.

So is it not true that WE have to decide, as God’s children, when to obey a government, and when not to?

Correct, I can follow the law of the goverment, solange it is not expecting me to do something what is against Gods will/law.
This is no question to me.
In case of the whole thing with the vaccation, I cant see that the government is doing something what I should rebell against.

You can get all 5 of mine and then another 35 on top of that for my family - let us know how your feeling after the first two or three

Social media has distorted the truth. And you can find experts who will agree with you no matter what you believe

But it does matter. So many things go into the equation that could cause some people to react and others not to. If we could find this out. We would know who is safe and who is not

But no. Everyone wants to lie and say it is so dangerous and no one should take it. Yet it saves peoples lives.

I know of NO ONE who has had any more reaction to the shot other than flue like symptoms that last abut 5 hours, and a sore arm. I know MANY people who have had covid and a year later are still struggling with some symptoms.

I now know at least ten people who got the shot who were exposed to Covid. 3 of us had hardly any symptoms but tested positive. The rest of us suffered NO Symptoms and tested negative. The three off us who tested positive were high risk people who suffered from health issues that when mixed with covid usually led to long hospital stats and or death.

So people can tell me the vaccine does nt work until they are blue int he face. And post right wing news stories about how bad the vaccine is and how dangerous it is. And it will nto change my mind

Some people should take the vaccine, Some should not. Many do not have to and should not be forced. This political rambling and division of my country is for the birds. And will be the downfall of my country.

I am losing hope. Not because of some stupid vaccine. but because of how mad this vaccine has made everyone. Especially the antivaccers.

"Strain out a gnat and swallow a camel". The vax/no vax debate has provided a smokescreen for other, even more oppressive laws to be introduced, at least in Australia. Some police forces (we are a federation of states) have used contact tracing information for other purposes, in spite of assurances to the contrary. I won't use a QR code as a result. Victoria has passed a law that punishes parents who try to dissuade their children from gender reassignment treatments. The maximum sentence is 10 years. Paedophiles will rarely go to jail for that long. These laws will apply long after COVID has been and gone. That's assuming the world lasts that long, of course. Some states are experimenting with facial recognition technology. This may seem harmless until we look at how China has abused it and uses it to control the population.

We need to remember who the real villain is here. It is not those who disagree with us, whichever side we take. It is Satan, who has taken opportunity to create division in both society generally and the church. The good news is that Satan's plot will fail as has everything else he's tried. Let's not make his job any easier by giving into division and descending into insults and spreading misinformation.

If you have to, put on your tinfoil hat. When the sky falls in, it won't hurt so much. (That is meant to be a joke.....)

Well then why the heck can’t you see that the government forcing and coercing me to put something in my temple, that I believe is evil and corrupt, is something that you should wholeheartedly support me with?
