It is good to have strife over issues of the truth.
If nobody stood up for the truth, lies would hold sway in the lives of everyone.
And, as I have said, there is unity among those who adhere to the kjv; while those who abide by modern translations have issues with the doctrines of kjv-only and/or kjv-superior advocates.
The issue of disunity does not have only to do with the fact that we make the kjv an issue; it has to do with the fact that there are differences in doctrine between the kjv and modern translations. It is these differences in doctrine that create the disunity.
If we did not make an issue over the kjv, people would be arguing oven more about what the scriptures really say; because what is said in the modern translations would be blindly accepted as biblical truth.
As it is, there are those who still blindly accept what is written in modern translations as biblical truth; and these have an issue with the doctrine of kjv-only and/or kjv-superior advocates.
Because there is a clear difference in the doctrine of modern translations as opposed to the kjv.
And therefore the issue has nothing to do with the fact that we, as kjv-only, kjv-superior, advocates, make an issue over the kjv; but it has everything to do with the difference in doctrine that is present in the modern translations.
The disunity is over what is believed by those who abide by modern translations as opposed to those who abide in the kjv.
