What you have is what you want to believe, They did not see an abomination of desolate set up in 70 AD. there was no temple or holy place for their to be an abomination of desolation set up.
Daily sacrifice was ended. I agree. there can not be a daily sacrifice if there IS NO TEMPLE
WHat you fail to grasp is what an abomination of desolation is.
In a holy temple where sacrifices are offered. there are two means by which sacrifices will be stopped
1. The temple is destroyed. You can not offer sacrifice where there is no temple
2. The holy place is defiled or made unclean by an idol placed in the holy place. rendering it unclean. this is called an abomination which makes desolate.
Your also stuck on dan 12. and completely ignore daniel 9. which would further show you they are not the same
Dan 9:
“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall [j]be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
This was fulfilled in AD 70
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
This has not happened yet. The abomination which makes desolate is the means by which sacrifice is brought to an end. as the holy place is rendered UNCLEAN.
It is in the middle of a 7 year period. so after this abomination of desolation is set up. there will be 1290 days
Just like the passage you keep speaking of. Dan 12
11 “And from the time
that the daily
sacrifice is taken away, and
the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
It also says this abomination of desolation will be standing IN THE HOLY PLACE until the consummation is poured out on the desolate. This is the return of Christ.
which is exactly what Jesus said in matt 24.
silent abomination 2000 years?
THERE IS NO TEMPLE THERE CAN BE NO ABOMINATION.
I will not ask you again to stop this strawman. It does not support your case. and is nothing but a proud attempt to convince yourself you are right.
Once again, the same argument can be used against you.
An abomination is an idol or unclean thing. Not dirt and dust.
