How did Jesus become a life-giving Spirit?

What do you guys think the latter part means? How did Jesus become a life-giving Spirit?

Odd verse imo. I thought Spirit was separate from Jesus, but according to this Jesus BECAME Spirit? Which makes even less sense because the Spirit was operating before Jesus' resurrection.

The man Christ Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit so He is a life giving Spirit.

Whether Father, Son, or Holy Spirit they are all a Spirit for they are not physical.

Paul is talking about man being borne in the God family, using Jesus as an example. We are born flesh and we get baptize in the name of Jesus and keep his Commandments statues and Judgements and become saints."Here is the patience of the saints; here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus" (Revelation 14:12). If we died or live until this time we shall be change. This is a change in the body, being born again. This is also called the first resurrection.

It makes sense but only by faith.
Isaiah prophesied Jesus would be called , among other names, Comforter and Counselor. Now this is plainly the Holy Spirit. If you wish to see it, it is Isaiah 9:6.
In faith, seeing should be believing, however the mystery is yet to be totally revealed. Do you have faith? Then believe.

Jesus Christ did come in flesh.

I know Jesus is God manifest in the flesh and the Son the man Christ Jesus is physical but Jesus as God is a Spirit for He would be a spiritual being not a physical being so His substance as God would have to be a Spirit.

Php 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Jesus as God is known as a Spirit and the Father and Holy Spirit are known as a Spirit so whether Father, Son, and Holy Spirit they are known as a Spirit.

But the Son the man Christ Jesus is physical.

It is related to our benefit from Jesus being the firstborn from the dead, meaning He is the first to resurrect directly unto eternal life (i.e. unto a glorified, heavenly body). Others who have been resurrected died again. But Jesus is unique in the sense that his resurrection was permanent. And this eternal life will be our also because we will be raised from our mortal state "in the likeness of his resurrection" (Rom 6:5, 8:11, 1 Cor 15).

Yes, the Holy Spirit is a separate person from Jesus, but just as the Father, they are one (unified). The Holy Spirit is referred to as "the Spirit of Christ" (Rom 8:9, Phil 3:21, 1 Pet 1:11). That tells you how close they are; the Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Jesus...Similar (if not the same) to the closeness believer have (1 Cor 6:17).
Technically, "became" is added by translators because it is implied from the preceding phrase, "the first man (Adam) became a living soul". I don't know if Paul intended the same meaning for Jesus in this verse. But remember, "Jesus is the same yesterday, to day and forever" (Heb 13:8), but He also became flesh" and "humbled himself" (Jhn 1:14, Phil 2:8). So the person, Jesus never changes. But the Son of God can, and has, added to His nature. He became flesh and resurrected to a "body of glory" (Col 3:21).
God (by nature) has always been a life-giving spirit (Jer 2:13, 7:13). But in Jesus, it was fully manifested.

God is Spirit. Lord Jesus is God. He took on the form of fallen man.

Lord Jesus stated that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He also said that He gives life to whoever He chooses.

There are four Greek words translated life. Lord Jesus used the word "Zoe." It is the uncreated life that makes God God. I look after a cat and a dog. The cat has "cat" life so it behaves like a cat. Even if it was raised with the dog and thought itself a dog (as can happen), it remains a cat. Likewise the dog. So "God life" (Zoe) makes God who He is.

This is the life that Lord Jesus gives those who are born again. We are partakers of the divine nature. As Jesus is, so are we in the world. We are new creations and The Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit and God came to dwell in the born again spirit of the believer.

Lord Jesus was the Life before He came to the earth. He released that life when He died on the cross. The life that was interred in His soul was released and so could become the life of the believer.

It sounds a little complicated but that's why we need the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

God is a Spirit, and to worship Him you must worship Him in spirit and truth. Jesus is God, God the Son.......... Jesus TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE FORM OF MAN when He came to earth to establish Gods Salvation Plan for all mankind....He WAS NOT IN HUMAN FORM PRIOR TO THIS............

Flesh and bone shall NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.......

There are different types of bodies....one earthly one celestial

On and on does Scripture speak to all of this.........

Most Christians, when questioned, readily concur that Jesus Christ is fully
the Word of John 1:1-4 and fully the flesh of John 1:14; but the Jehovah's
Witnesses have a problem with that because they are convinced it is
impossible for someone to exist as a spirit being and a physical being
simultaneously.

The concept would also require them to believe that humanity's creator exists
simultaneously as a created human which, again, to them, is impossible.

NOTE: In my years of experience among Christians, I've encountered quite a
few that have trouble accepting Jesus Christ's human origin, but it's really
not all that difficult to show that he was Adam's biological progeny.

The Spirit of Christ has always been, the man Jesus is God expression of Himself to us through the body of the man Jesus who is fully man and fully God. God is Spirit and no man can see Him and live Yet Jesu said IF you have seen me you have seen my Father also.

That is speaking of the eternal existence of Christ before the incarnation as John chapter one says.

Flesh and blood can’t enter heaven it’s a spiritual place for spiritual bodies

Jesus rose bodily but notice his body was able to disappear and reappear wherever he wanted after resurrection then they saw his body ascend up into the clouds and disappear .

Just like Jesus when we lay down our flesh and blood we in Christ are translated into the spiritual world and kingdom having received his spirit which he sent into heaven on the cross for us to receive later and be saved

everyone becomes spirit when we die Jesus partook of the flesh only for our benefit , he was already spirit in the beginning and then later partook of the fallen flesh for us to save us and was glorified again in the spirit which was where he began and where we are destined also to need the same image

It’s the same example of our process when we die we’re translated from adams fleshly image to the spiritual image of Jesus
