My assumption is this is something you are going through or may possibly be going through? If so, I would make a appointment with my pastor or some Godly counselor who has a real gift of discernment and understanding. Usually situations like this are full of all kinds of details and feelings and so much to unpackage and unload. So I would seek out the most Godly counsel I know. These kind of decisions are so life altering for the present, near future, and down the road. So my best opinion is if my assumption is correct and this may be a situation you are in or facing. I would seek Godly counsel from someone you can trust and can make your burden their own while still being objective enough to understand the details. I will add you to my prayers if the case be that this is for you cause the inner turmoil, stress, and anxiety can be so heavy.

Thank you for your advice and your assumptions are correct . Being a believer and trying to follow Christ and do the changes witch are good for me and my family . But one of the most difficult things is realizing the way I have been living for years is not the right way. My marriage is taken a hard hit with my new found faith considering I am not longer the person I was before finding Christ again. It's very challenging when your spouse does not feel the same. The influence and the temptation of old ways are hard to leave behind when your spouse thinks no change is needed and thinks things should remain the same. It's been very hard . I do pray a lot and I know things can't change over night . But after months it's getting very difficult. I know seems petty but A person can only handle so much.

Is not petty at all and it is hard and you do want to please God or you would not be asking advice. I will be praying for you and for your spouse and also peace for you cause the turmoil does not help as well as guidance for you. Just take encouragement you are not alone and God is with you and he will see you through this. I know that sounds like a platitude but I have found God is always faithful. God bless you sister and I will be praying for you.

I’ve wanted to separate for years. It would have been the easy thing to do but not the right thing. The Lord continually reminds me that my wife and I are ONE, like we are ONE with Christ. He strengthens me through suffering. I don’t know what your situation is like but if it’s safe, you should stay and grow in Christ.

A married couple can separate. But divorce has been created to allow a person to legally marry another person.. You do not need a divorce to separate from your husband / wife..

I would say you should continue being and doing the things the Lord has called you to do and be.

HIS yoke and burden is light, NOT the worlds yoke.

Let your husband continue to see Christ through you.

Be a good wife without engaging in things you believe God wants you to refrain from.

The Holy Spirit can use you to bring him to Jesus. This may take a long time. But the joy in the knowledge of the Lord will sustain you day by day.

Be blessed

If I may suggest a book to read. It’s called Bold Love by Dr. Dan Allender. We are instructed as Christians to love even our enemies but it’s very rare that we actually understand what that looks like and how we put that love into practice in our daily lives. The idea of the book is that there are appropriate and often very different ways to love in difficult circumstances and not all love looks the same. Love is not always being warm, fuzzy and “nice” this book give glimpses of where tough love may be necessary in relationships we face. God bless
