So,
@Lily-Keith
Hey, figuared I'd come here to follow up on camping , so I don't have someone comment on taking up space in the random thread, lol.
Have you ever thought about camping as an adult? So much fun! Do you have any friends that you could go out and camp with?
I have been working on finding new spots I have to hiking into to go camping. Don't mind the regular spots, but want to go where not many people go. I also love the view at the top of hikes, so finding a scenic area and a good spot to camp is my winter criteria.
Well, I have never been to Jellystone, I mean Yellowstone...yet. definately on my list!Ah, good idea!
You know, I thought about it once, but I don't think it's for me. I think I enjoy hiking more than camping (I'm an odd nut)
Recently, my family and I (I still live at home) visited Yosemite when the park was open. No waterfalls, but then again it was early fall. Still, those mountains! They're so beautiful! Have you ever been?
Yes, the road less travelled! We did that once on a short hike and found a lovely creek (have to remember to go back for family picnics!)
Hey, have you ever heard of Geocaching? It's super fun.
oooops!so I don't have someone comment on taking up space in the random thread, lol.
nope, had to look that up.Hey, have you ever heard of Geocaching? It's super fun.
Hey, I figuared Someone would say something, lol. Just one of those spontaneous convos that got started.oooops!maybe I should've read this thread BEFORE "RANDOM" thread today
or then again, maybe this shows that you realized what you were doing and tried to get yourself out of "trouble"
Either which way, thanks for leaving all the great laughs around here to read and reset what had started as a crummy morning![]()

I have heard of Geocaching. I know there is some websites that have the locations to GPS them. I believe I did that once actually. Have to put that back on my list.
Ya, most times I just go for hiking. But trying to get back into backpacking, which puts in some tent camping as well. Some good views at the top of the ridge lines.
Have you found some good things Geocaching? If so, what have you found?
