(New religious cult? Vaccine apostles? Forcing 1000s to get the shot or lose their job? When did coercion and threats become the way of Jesus? These folks probably would cheer for how Australia is handling Covid-19. Loss of liberty is a far more dangerous threat than Covid-19. Lock down, mandates, mask up, stop gathering in church but gyms are fine, no gathering for a concert but riots are allowed. Security for children at the loss of liberty. Loss of liberty leads to further mandates and further abuses. So our children, our grandparents, our parents, etc may be safer from a virus for a short period of time until the government becomes your worst enemy. Tyrants have killed far more people than any virus in history. )

Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-N.Y., preached from a pulpit in Brooklyn on Sunday that citizens should be thankful to God for the COVID-19 vaccines, which she claimed were divinely inspired.

Hochul then showed off her necklace that indicated her vaccination status before alleging those who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine "aren't listening to God and what God wants."

"I need you to be my apostles," Hochul told her audience. "I need you to go out and talk about it and say, ‘We owe this to each other. We love each other.’ Jesus taught us to love one another and how do you show that love but to care about each other enough to say, ‘Please get the vaccine because I love you and I want you to live? I want our kids to be safe when they're in schools? I want to be safe when you go to a doctor's office or to a hospital and are treated by somebody?' You don't want to get the virus from them. You're already sick or you wouldn't be there."

"And here is my promise to you, my friends. I will use the inspiration of God in my life and fight for you every single day as your governor and beyond," Hochul added.
Hochul has spoken dismissively regarding those who would seek a religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/09/unvaccinated-students-ordered-wear-armbands-can-identified/

University of Bath is passing out armbands to signal if you have been double vaccinated or unvaccinated. This is to identify who the "unclean" are among us and who should be ostracized in our society. True these unclean ultimately will be rounded up and put into quarantine camps where they will be treated humanely as long as they can be productive enough to justify societies generosity in keeping them alive. One step at a time.

They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

There's a social element to vaccines. People like to talk about which brand of vaccine they got, their experience, how they felt, etc. They also like knowing who isn't vaccinated and why, usually to gossip negative things about them.

Vaccines seem to be quickly becoming a thread in the fabric of culture.

Yeah, that comment she made really irked me when I heard it. We weren't told by Christ to go out and tell people about a vaccine but to tell people about HIM. If we want people to truly live, we share how their eternal soul can live. THAT should be our main concern and our showing of Christ's love!

She is a high priestess of the Vaccine, and the vaccine is a phony blood that heals you. It is a lying wonder of the sorcerers.

Yes, agree that speech was weird. She was speaking as though she was Jesus himself, and we are her apostles.

Amen. Extremely materialistic. To be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord.

Weird. Must be right in line with the social wave of sharing what pronoun you identify as.

Do you support vaccine mandates?
No...
Because the Federal Government is overstepping their authority.
Those rights are the sole purview of the States as spelled out specifically by our Constitution. They can decide whether or not they wish to have a vaccine mandate or not. But where I happen to believe that the mRNA Vaccines are a miracle sent by God in our hour of need I don't believe that we should be forcing medical treatment upon anyone.

The hypocrisy of Democrats is extreme in this. Where they are literally militantly marching and chanting in the streets about how a woman has a right to make choices over her own body it all goes out the window when it comes time for vaccinations for Covid-19. Then they want to strap a woman into a rape chair at gunpoint and pump her full of vaccines regardless of anything she has to say on the matter.

Yes, the people of New York traded one crazy for another.
That's ridiculous, Cuomo was a serial abuser of women and is responsible for killing over ten thousand elderly during the pandemic. How could anyone be as bad as that. Let me see, hmmm, OK, hmmmm, OK, well maybe she is just as bad as Cuomo, certainly a crazy pagan priestess standing over her witches brew.

I agree. I feel safe without the vaccine. People with the vaccine should feel safe as well for now. No long term data on safety but short term the majority do alright. I feel bad for the ones who are forced and die or have permanent problems due to the vaccine.

I don't think a lot of young people (college age and teenagers) want to be forced to take the vaccine, since they don't really benefit from it. I wonder if all this will influence their future political views.

One the one hand we have Christians telling us that to have the jab will cause to sprout horns and tail and go around in a red suit for eternity. On the other, if you refuse the jab, you will sprout horns........ you know the rest.

I've had the jab. I'll be glad to get the next one and get on with my life. I don't believe it should be compulsory. But I do not run the world. Those who refuse the jab must be prepared to accept any consequences. Ranting and raving about it will not help you.

I must have missed that post, oops you said "Christians", so I must have missed those posts from multiple posters.

Who exactly does run the world? Oh right, the whole world lies in the evil one, he is a liar, a thief and a murderer. A little context for your post goes a long way.

Really? No, ranting and raving should be at the least we should do. Every American regardless of vaccine status should be furious and making lots of noise. It is amazing how much people do not care for others rights.
